Anwesha is really good and definitely make it big in bollywood..
But shankarji is a legend....don't talk such things just on the basis of this reality show..
It takes huge effort to compose songs and sing them as well..
Do not demean shankarji like this...
Shaan is really a good singer no doubt and his singing style really different from shankar..
Why compare them...
I just wanted to tell that shaan would have competed if he wanted to ..he did not it is his personal choice...why criticize shankar if he excercised the option.

I love Anwesha's singing, please don't compare her to Shankar. She has a long way to reach where Shankar is today..

The point to be noted is Shaan's team members sang first and to compete against them Shankar came on the stage. And it's not the case that captains(and their team members) prepare just one song for each round, a captain has other options prepared by his team members. Like Himesh said, when he let Munawar sing, that he can also come on stage to sing but he wanted munawar to come as Munawar was v eager. Once Shreya also choose not to come as judges had given less marks to other team (which could give her a lead) so she sent Abhaas. So, finally the choice is made on the stage looking at how the competition is going.

Shakar as a captain definately felt threatened when competitor team sang exceptional and when he can send his teammembers(hv faith in them, prepare them and give them this wonderful platform to go ahead in life) instead came to sing himself. It's not the captain alone who will win its the whole TEAM who will win. I would definately want Shaan's team members to win.
