Good performance, I will give him 9! I wish he had selected any other nice song! "Chandsifarish" wud hav been better, i jst love it! Wud have given 10!

Not a difficult song really. For me, 'average Bollywood singing' is about carrying a simple tune adequately. This is a rather simple tune...

... but Shaan has definitely done better than adequate by adding a lovely mischievous feel. And he did some nice, precise harkats throughout the song, which weren't too simple. Of course, the beauty of his singing is in his amazing voice quality - points for that!

However, Shaan struggled when he had to hit the few high notes in this song. For example, 'Ik haan kehne ko itna tehlati hai' - he sounds strained at 'ko' and 'hai'.

So, Shaan gets a neat 7/10 from me for this performance!

Sorry no headphones so can't comment on specifics, but I remember this was the score I was going to give it listening to it a couple of times. I know he brought some great emotions along with his already great voice quality. Though song wasn't too difficult.
