Simi - Abhi is your Husband Now

Simi.. Please come out of your family vivacious circle and now you are with abhi ( The man who loves you the most) and you were not even getting married and hes the only one who made you laugh and has been with you..

I may be saying things that many are not agreeing with but I'd like to say it again.

Simi loves Abhi but they have not been more intimate than falling in to each other's arms a couple times. And usually the stereotype is that the husband is supposed to make the first move. I think many girls still wait for their SOs to make the first move.

And about leaving Abhi to go wish her mother happy bday, I mentioned in another post that she DID leave a "note", the kheer. Telling Abhi exactly where she was going because she had already told him the night before. Maybe it wasn't as blatant as most would like it but I think it was more romantic.

Also she left without him because he is not welcome in the house (as is she). But as a daughter, she still has some "rights" where as Abhi has no rights yet on the Sethi household. And I'm sure she didn't want Abhi being insulted by her family either. She knew that what she needed to do, she had to do alone.

And lastly, I want to mention that priorities don't change overnight. Especially ones that are deep rooted like Simi's. Even though her family has insulted her, declared her dead, and stabbed her in the back she still considers them family. Ask any married woman, most of them still favor their maternal family slightly above the in-laws. Why? Because that's who they identify with. And here it has only been 2 days since their marriage. How can anyone expect such emotional change to occur?

But Abhi is not her in law Sur, he is her husband, so in essence she should show something towards him. I do like your point though about the kheer as a "note" to let him know where she had gone.
