Frankly, I don't understand why Mahi was expecting a kiss on the third date. Isn't it too early anyway?

I guess if you knew the person well in advance and actually started dating later... a kiss would be fine on the 3rd or the 4th date.

But Mahi-Ishan don't even know each other well. They haven't at all talked about each other. They don't have that much depth or understanding in the relationship yet.

So why make such a big deal out of not getting kissed on the 3rd date? Sid-Roshni thought it was some unthinkable crime that Ishan has committed and were giving Mahi tips on avoiding him? Anjali obviously seemed surprised too. She even asked if they had done 'that' and was completely shocked that they haven't kissed in 3 dates. I mean, really?!!!

I don't know I thought dating was more about knowing each other and first deciding if they want to take this relationship to another level. Once they decide that, then I guess it's understandable to think about kiss etc.

I know this story is about a modern girl/family in India. But is India really that modern or am I just too old fashioned in spite of living in the U.S.?

funny u bring that up, i'd have to go with OLD FASHIONED INSPITE OF BEING IN THE US. I've noticed that about myself too and alot of people i know are like that as well. i guess since we live in the US amongst people that arent like 'us' we tend to hold on to our cultural beliefs even more so that we feel like we actually have an identity.

Yeah, I guess.

I just thought that one would want to be strong in the relationship before going ahead with such things. I guess it's a very eastern look at it, but I wouldn't want to get physically intimate unless I know that he really is the one.

Right now it seems like it's more of an infatuation than true love.

Yeah I totally agree. Personally, I don't know if there should be like a time limit or something on such things. Whenever it happens naturally. Also, at first I was like Ishan isnt kissing her which means he's not just playing around. Like he really wants to get to know her. Bc in front of other girls Ishan has to pretend to be this Hot/Smooth Talker kind of guy. And most girls he probably meets are not that concerned with like the emotional things and stuff. So Mahi is different for him. She has some kind of substance.

And I gotta tell you....I thought that Sid and Roshni were acting a little crazy. I agree Mahi should not act all desperate. But not only by pretending to be busy. She should actually just let this thing with Ishan grow slower. Kiss on the 3rd date? Not a good idea if you know nothing much about the guy.

So I was happy that Ishan had not kissed her. But I guess he's not much different either. Kiss on the 4th date? They know nothing about each other. I really hope Ishan is not playing her. Or maybe he's keeping this on the downlow cuz he's embarrassed of her.

But the part about India being western. That kinda scares me a little bit bc even in America we don't really jump to physical things. But I guess a lot of kids in India wanna be all westernized and assume thats what goes on in America especially bc of all the American shows that show an unrealistic America

haha, and I was wondering 'am I the old fashioned one" here😆
couldnt actually understand mahi's obsession for a kiss🤣 . If u have watched the epi carefully , u can hear the preggy sis asking 'anything happened or atleast a kiss"😲. I didnt want to come up with the topic as I felt many would advice me , its a veryyy urban show and all these things happens in india( shudders*).
And if u see, the reason why mahi is desperate for a boyfriend is that she doesnt want to "die a virgin"🤪. Can't understand the logic behind that🤪. I never had a boyfriend but still I will not die a virgin coz am married and have kids🤣

mahi, its just infatuation for sure.
Looks like the creatives have veryy modern outlook abt life or may be they have never been to india😆. Even rishta.com is on the same line. If u are attracted towards a guy, go ahead and sleep with him😕 even if u dont know him properly😲
By the way, I hope , our heroine's next kwaish is not that😡😆

Shamil - Glad to know I'm not the only one 😆

The creatives do seem to have a very 'western' take on these shows.

I like Mahi Way for the reality element, but this episode totally dedicated to that 'kiss' just made me realize it's not that real after all.

I could relate to Mahi in so many ways, minus this one!! I mean the guy is talking to you, spending time with you, you're getting to know the guy you like, yet the only thing you care about is the kiss? Really now!

I was surprised too for her wanting a kiss. I was raised here in the US and I was in a shock for a moment, but I guess we US people are more conservative than Indians. Being modern has a different meaning out there.

But great show though.:)

okay hear what your all saying - born and brought up in london live in the US now - but really gals have you never had a HUGE crush on some one and you feel like you know ALL about hime and you want a kiss? - not saying 4th date jump in to bed with them, but a kiss.. I guess just throwing in my 2 cents I think 3rd/4th date ending iwth a kiss is pretty normal..
again just my humble opinion.. I Love the show.. and really hope Ishaan and Mahi do stick together.. 😛
