One best reason i like this show

what make like this show more is that everything seem realistic..u know in some shows things seems fake.but in PR everything seems real.they make every scene realistic....thats why i feel more people are watching the showwwwwwwwww.

I started watching it basically bcoz of its middle class touch.

I too really like the show. I watch it with my wife and i find it the best on ZEEtv for a simple reason.
The characters are human.
They react as human.
I problem I have with the other shows is that the characters are very basic, they are either very good, or very bad, hardly any in between.
Most of the characters on Pavitra are good at heart, but life sometimes dictates circumstances.

With the other shows, i get a feeling that the stories are just different situations strung together, most time with no rhythm or reason, just to create drama, although I am sure the creates for Rishta wants to create drama, to me each element actually moves the general story forward, the characters develop, there interaction with each other changes.

With this show I can find almost all the time believable reasons for each characters actions, no so with the others. even Shravani, yes she is very frustrating at the moment, but she is in survival mode, she sees archu as a threat to both her and her child's future security, before manuv agree to marry her, she had no idea on how to move forward in life, her father was pushing her to get an abortion, she did not want to, so she is just securing her future.
I can tell you alot of people marry not for love, but security, they may not admit it, even convince themselves they are in love, but it come down to being secure.

That is why I don;t mind investing time into this serial, it has been realistic to me so far and the characters are believable.

The middle class background is great , the drama is very good and the actors are doing a fantastic job .

Yeah... The Room Decors are So Very Natural.... They Show Towels being hung on Chairs n the Bedsheet li'l Crumpled with books n newspapers on the bed(Just like a normal Middle class home where there are No seperate Study areas because the rooms r Small so People sit on Beds to read ) I Lovvvvvve PR!! I guess the simplicity in all sense and scenes are depicted so well and can be easily related to day to day life of a middle class family....

Every artist is so blended with the role that they play
.....also the screenplay.....some soaps are too dramatized or lots of filmi stuff, but the conversations in PR is like either they are discussions at home or in a next door family.......

I also like the way they show importance of relationships.....how sisters exchange their thoughts, how a brother feels when his sister gets married, how parents plan their children's future, the way they plan the weddings, lot more..... all these are so natural.....and i hardly see such scenes anywhere else.....

BUT SHRAVANI CHAR !!!!! I didnt want to say anything negative in this thread, but cannot resist from writing this name - SHRAVANI 😡 😡 sorry ! 😭 she is the only one thats not gelling with the show....not able to digest the fact that someone like that is being supported and someone can forget their love and marry (another) brother of one's lover in 4-5 months time ! 😲 😕

Well it is realistic in the sense that Manav isn't turning from 0 to JAGILLIONAIRE which happens in most of these Kekta Shows ( maybe I spoke too soon, next thing you know... ) lmao.
