I dont know why Krishnas Dad is making a big deal about her caste

He was refering her to a Kayastha girl, Kayasthas are Brahmins and Kshatriyas which are high castes, Thakurs are Kshatriyas...So why is he against her caste? Is it cause shes from a middle class family or that her caste is a dual caste status

IM SO CONFUSED 😕

Sajjan Singh is a confused character rather like his family (except Krishna)......but I think the problem was she's not from a Thakur/upper class family

brahmins ancesters were priests
kshratya ancesters were warriors/ from a royal family

but im confused about krishna's family as brahmins, coz they sure dont act like it, or even look like it,and it seems they eat meat, which is a no no in their caste

Plus if you look on an another show in Colors called Ye Pyar Na hoga Kum, they have brahmin family and they do look the part as brahmins
