What Gunjan has done shows how much she loves and lives for Sam, because lying has never come to her easily, she has always believed in speaking the truth, but for her to lie to Bauji shows that she can go to any lengths for Sam's happiness. Her callng Sam a friend is also for him !! If she had cjos eto distance herself, her Bauji, Nups and the gnag would have wondered why she isnt talking to him or acting that way with him !! And she would never want to tell anyone what happened between her and Sam on valentines days. Even now she is thinking of him, because she would never want any of his friends to have a low opinion about him. Now when she says he is just a friend, whatever they think, or how ever they react it would be about Gunjan, and not Sam. She is willing to do and face anything to protect Sam 😭

True, Gunjan is sheltering Sam, because she hasn't told Nupur yet about Valentine's nite, and after this, I don't think she will, because she knows that will get Nupur all protective and angry with Sam all over again ... and all the others too will be very upset with Samrat and she can't take that. Plus Sajan have always been very private about their love and this is a very private issue ... she will not open up about it in front of everyone, it's something which will be between just the two of them (hopefully!) And again ... she doesn't want Samrat proposing to her out of pity, and because she doesn't know about the first proposal, all she knows is that he didn't want to marry her, and now he does ... whether out of guilt, or out of pity ... neither of which she would like or want. So now the onus is on her ... no one will wonder about Sam's intentions or think badly of him, which, like you said, is most important to her. And the track will be between the two of them only ... with maybe Sam taking help from Nupur, Mayank, maybe Benji ... like he did earlier during the bet time ... to try and convince her that she is the only one for him ... whether she can walk or not. and hopefully, we will also get a track where he helps her get back on her feet. I think the confidence building will come with fighting in the RDB track ... as long as they don't sideline Gunjan there ... after all, it's her fight! Hers and Adhiraj's ...
