Elvish Yadav's Gurugram home attacked by three assailants; 25 rounds of bullets fired

In a shocking development, gun firing happened outside the residence of Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav. The popular YouTuber was out of Haryana for some work but his family was home. This happened early on Sunday morning between 5 am and 6 am. His residential address comes under Sector – 56 police station of Gurugram. It seems three men came on a bike and fired around 25 to 30 rounds at his residence. They fled from the spot. Thankfully, no one was injured in the family. Senior cops have arrived at his place and an investigation is underway. Elvish Yadav’s family occupies the second and third floors of the building. His parents and the caretaker were at home when this attack happened.

His father Ram Avtar Yadav told PTI that the police’s doing a thorough job in its investigation. It seems he was asleep when the shooting happened. He confirmed that 25-30 rounds of bullets were fired. The faces of the assailants were caught on the CCTV footage, one can easily identify the faces of two of them. Elvish Yadav’s family has not yet registered a formal FIR on the matter. Senior officials are at his place doing a forensic examination, and gathering more information from CCTV footage.

Elvish Yadav, one of the youth icons of North India is no stranger to controversies. Last year, he was arrested by the Noida Police for consumption of snake venom as a rave party drug. An activist Gaurav Gupta had registered a complaint against him. Later, he got bail as his counsel argued that no drug was recovered from him. Also, he denied any kind of association with the main accused in the matter. He was also involved in a fight with fellow YouTuber Sagar Thakur known as Maxtern. The video had gone viral with Yadav facing a lot of criticism.
