Why do they all keep saying thank you over and over again to each other after every single thing, whether it even makes sense or not. And when it does make sense, one time is enough.

J or S: Thank you so much for that performance.
Contestant: Thank you, thank you so much.
Contestant then gets on the floor and kisses the floor.
Then Contestant: Thank you, thank you.
J or S: Thank you again. Aap wahaan beth sakteiN hain.
Contestant: Thank you. Thank you so much.

J or S: Aapka sunheri topi ka sapnaa yahin kahtaam hotaa hai
Contestant: Thank you, thank you so much.

Well, there isn't much you can say when somebody complements you. You can only thank them! so that's why they say it but it is funny when they keep repeating it over and over again 😛😆

Even I get annoyed by so many "Thank you" .. it's quite irriating.. just like a persistant housefly..!!

But I guess since they're so much appreciated and complimented by everyone in the studio audience,judges and all.. they just keep saying it 'cos there's no other way to express their grateful-ness to the audience's appreciation.. but to say "Thank you..or thank you so much" 😆

But why do Jay and Soumya keep saying "thank you so much" over and over again too. It is not just the contestants. And it makes no sense when they all keep saying it to each other over and over again. If you slip and fall on a banana peel and I help you get up, it is OK if you say thank you to me. But if I start saying "thank you so much" to you over and over again would it make any sense?

LOL... When I saw the topic, I thought the poster is saying Thank you to the members here for something!! LOL... I never thought someone will start a topic on this, but this one is a superb topic yaar!! 👏 So good to see that someone gave enough thought to bring it up...

Maybe in the editing, the bits in between might have been removed, and so we get to see all the Thank You Thank You bits only!! Only those who sit in the audience at the time of shoot will know the real things tied to each Thank You-s.. I think they are making it look like as if the contestants and hosts are saying Thank You to the viewers - for watching it, for keeping the TRPs up, for sending SMS votes and SMS money to the channel, etc etc... They cant thank enough because without the viewers everything will hit the bottom - TRPs, SMS, everything that is critical for the producers..!!
