This sounds sarcastic but I think that for a lot of the contestants (Amar, Kishore, Saajan) the only thing they know how to say in english is "Thank you,"

Actually now that I think about it the only thing Amar has said in english (well, almost the ONLY thing 😆) IS "Thank you so much masters/ janta (and Janta is not even in english)"
