Jyoti goes to Shishumangal to meet the kids and they ask why she didn't come with Pankaj. She doesn't say anything and they tell her to close her eyes and they have a surprise for her. They bring Pankaj into the room and sit him next to her. Jyoti is surprised seeing him and they ask if the 2 of them are fighting. They dont say anything but Jyoti tells them all to come to Deepu's shaadi. Later, Jyoti-Pankaj leave and Jyoti asks if she shud get him an auto since it will be dark soon. He tells her it is always dark for him, and walks off.

The next day the Sharmas are holding a Ganesh Pooja for Deepu's wedding. Seeing Sudha crying, Jyoti tells her that today is the last day she can attend a wedding ritual since tomorrow is the wedding and tells her not to cry today. Padma tells Jyoti to attend an important call. The tailor who is stitching Poonam's saree tells Jyoti that she has to come urgently to check if the saree is ok, else the tailors will leave and no corrections can be made after that. Jyoti unwillingly goes there after Padma tells her to go. By the time she is back, the pooja is over. Sudha, noticing how dejected Jyoti looks, begins to cry again but Jyoti stops her.

Later that day Deepu's haldi ceremony begins and everyone applies haldi on Deepu's face. Guests apply haldi on Uday as well and begin asking about their other son-in-law. The phone rings and Jyoti picks it up. Pankaj tells her he wants to meet her right now and he is standing outside her house. A confused and nervous Jyoti agrees to talk to him. End.
