Ali....these days it's getting really tough to defend Manav coz he's walking on thin ice nd so are his supporters.....I just hope the creatives are not dumb enough to realise this and stop screwing his character further........abt his engagement someone said that he was all decked up like a dulha but c'mon did u not see his appearance nd his attire, he didn't even look at shravni ....it was a commitment that he made to her nd is fufilling it..... that's it. i just hope in the coming weeks Manav finds a way out of this mess that his dead brother nd his pregg gf has pushed him to......bt whatever happns let Shravni not be the all-sacrificing martyr I want Manav to realise that nd do something ............anything to make Archana feel she's still the one for him and will always be.

What is happening to Archana in that house is so bad that I have no words . She must leave that house if she wishes to remain sane .

One ,ore thing I would like to see. Manav is very strong about the promise he made to Shravani ....how about the promise he made to Archana , what happened to those .

I called him a man only for one reason ... standing by his decision to marry shravani. Being firm on that count. That's it. Coz in that post we were discussing Manav's dilemma 'Archuor Shravani' and so I used this line. Even you agreed that he is not unmanly coz he is marrying Shravani right? Exactly my point.

A slight difference here in our thinking . Just by agreeing to marry Shravani he doesn't become manly ............HOW he goes about marrying her makes him a man . Give her FULL commitment . Tell in front of GOD in the temple that I cannot and will not put sindoor now on Archna . I am committed to Shravani . Thats being a man .

He put sindoor in front of a private society ........his family and hers [ Shravni's] . right ? So he accepted her socially . So now , even in front of God be true to the woman . I wud respect him as a viewer . I dont like these wishy washy somersaults that he is doing .

Nikita honestly I have no problem with his commitment anymore . Stuff had happened and he had not dreamt that Archana wud come back , this time professing her love . Ok . Till that point I totally exonerate him from a practical viewpoint [ not from a love story view point .............as a lover he shud ideally have said what Varsha said , that I am burnt out and not ready for it yet .']But it is about how he is going about doing it that makes me lose respect .

Archna had the guts to talk to public and defend him . He shud have done it if he was genuinely committed and felt he was doing the right thing .

I don't think he is as commited to Archana as she is . She went into a total panic attack when another man was mentioned to her . He knows now that he was wrong in accusing her of the jail complaint but still he is not doing anything to stop the unfairness being done to her .

Koolsadhu, I guess you are not getting what I'm trying to say. I agree with your points in that post, that many of the things that he did showed that he was weak and had succumbed to pressure. But at that time in that post, we were not talking about those issues at all. We were talking about shravani and Manav's dilemma- and if we only take that situation into consideration I felt that where shravani is concerned, Manav is trying to be a man and fulfill his promise... of course he has his own shortcomings and weaknesses.. his love for Archana being one which he is trying to control as best as I can.
