Prem walked into the lavish party with a smirk plastered on his face. It was a college reunion party held at St. Xavier's College of Mumbai.

As he stood at the entrance, he searched for a specific person. He scrutinized the wild crowd that was dancing away as if they were doing some wild animal dance in the jungle. He couldn't help but smile that their antics. He knew each and every single person that had attended the party. And needless to say, every single person knew him. Why wouldn't they, he was THE Prem Juneja. Yeah he is The Prem Juneja..why wont girls go gaga over him😉

The reunion was held for all the students that had graduated two years ago from the college. When Prem was I college, he had been the most popular guy in his age group. Every single student admired him for his looks, his personality, his intelligence, and most importantly his friendship. It was impossible to not be friends with Prem after knowing him. Even though he was rich and held a high standard, he never ever felt ashamed of being friends with anyone. Prem had a golden heart that was big enough to have each every single person inside it. Along with his sweetness, his caring feelings towards his friends were also quiet alarming. If either one of his friends was in need for help, they would easily rely on Prem from help no matter what. Prem was just that perfect of a guy. 😳

As he strode through the entrance, still looking for someone, he was bombarded with hugs and kisses for all kinds of people. The girls were drooling over the sight of him even though they knew that the guy was committed. Seeing his dressed formally in black trousers, a purple shirt, a matching silver tie, and dress pants was breath-taking. He must be looking breath taking, extremely handsomee...I cam imagine that😳 The girls respected his feeling and that's why they felt satisfied with a kind hug and kiss of his cheek. The guys almost squeezed the life out of him as they hugged their buddy. The two years had been quite hectic for all the students because they had been busy with their jobs and their careers. Prem had also been one of them. He came from a family where almost everyone had attended law school. Like his parents, he ended up becoming a prosecution lawyer. Prem respected his job and tried his best to give justice to the people who had been victimized.

But in the hustle and bustle of the last two years of training, he never got the time to stay in touch with his friends. Today was a day which would help him catch up those two years. As he walked around chatting and catching up with his old buddies, his eyes fell on a delicate figure standing in the corner. She stood out from all the other girls around her. While the other girls were dressed in cocktail dresses, short skirts, blouses that exposed a little too much; she was dresses in a violet shaded, long sleeve pishwas with silver embroidery. There were silver ribbon sequins that formed a U-shape from her shoulders to her waist. The rest of the nylon material hung loosely below her waist to her knees. The long sleeves were a transparent violet through which he could see her fair, creamy skin. The black leggings added to her elegant outfit. Godd..you described her dress beauftifully Prem could tell that she was the only girl that he would find to be all covered up and without any exposure.

He stood there in front of Arjun who was busy telling him an embarrassing incident that had occurred a few days ago. But Prem was literally paying no attention. How could he pay any attention? His attention was stolen by the girl that he had been eyeing. He eyes traced trough her velvet, black hair as she pulled behind a few tresses which were getting in her way, behind her ear. As she revealed her glowing face, Prem found his eyes to be glued to her eyes. He somehow found himself drowning in dust colored eyes which had a tint of brown here and there. He could read her eyes even from being ten feet away from her. And deep down, he was feeling the same exact feeling. Yeah..they can express everything through their eyes

His eyes then shifted to her perfect nose. He loved the way it suited her face. Then his gaze fell on her light pinkish lips which had a smile lingering over them. Seeing the smile on her face, a grin automatically formed on his lips. Yes. She was beautiful. He didn't find words to describe how beautiful she was. When he came to her, he couldn't find a word in the world that could describe her sensual and pure beauty. 👏👏👏

Seeing that his best friend had completely ignored him, he traced his eyes to see what had caught his attention. And his trace stopped at the girl. A smile formed on his lips and he bent near Prem's ear to whisper something.

"Aise ghoor ghoor ke kya dekh rahe ho? Jao naa!" Arjun said and he brought his friend back to earth and pushed him slightly forward. lolzz how sweet of him😆😆

Knowing that his friend was right, he decided to walk up to the girl. Prem saw her talking to another girl. But while he was approaching her, he saw the other girl go away. Perfect! He said to himself.

Prem quickened his speed and in no time, he stood in front of the girl. The girl saw him standing in front of him and a slight smile came up on her lips. He found her taking a good long look at him as if drinking in his image. Prem returned her a sweet grin and held out his hand.

"Hi. I'm Prem. Prem Juneja. And you?" He said with a smirk.

::

She looked at his approached hand and then at his eyes. Gosh! All she wanted to do was drown in them forever. But none the less, she composed herself and slid her hand into his.

"Hi. I'm Heer. Heer Mann. Nice to meet you." She flashed her polite smile. She didn't mind playing along with him.

"So? Do you remember me or even recognize me? We used to be in the same classes two years ago." Prem started the conversation.😳😳

"Of course I remember. Ho can I forget you?" Heer replied nicely.

"What do you remember?" He smirked at her once again and waited to hear her melodious voice again. He had a feeling that he was about to be attacked by her answer to his question.

"Umm. Let's see. I remember the first day of college when I was partnered up with you in Biology." Heer answered.

"And?" Prem said. The smirk still plastered on his face.

"And I remember when I ended up in detention for helping you skip class because you didn't have your presentation ready." Heer answered.

"And?" Prem asked. He approached his steps towards her.

"I remember saving you from all the girls that had been after you on Valentines Day." Heer answered. As her eyes were glittered in mischief, she stepped backward.

"And?" Prem asked. He inched his way closer to her. A smirk clearly glued on his face.

"I remember how you saved me from almost losing my track competition." Heer kept moving back slowly. She was unknown to the fact that Prem had cornered her almost into a dark room in the magnificent hotel.

Prem quickly opened the door knob and slid inside the dark room with her.😳😳Lovedd their convoo😳😳

::

The room was completely dark. The perfect place where he wanted to meet her.

"And? What else do you remember Heer?" His voice was husky soft this time. As if he was whispering.

Heer felt her pulse rate quicken. He had her trapped in his love cage. His hands had circled around her waist. Her back was gently resting against the wall. She could feel herself going out of breath upon his touch.

"I remember'I'." She found herself short of breath. She could feel his warm breath tickling her soft cheeks. In a matter of few seconds, she found his forehead resting gently against hers'.

"What?" he questioned in a low whisper.

Heer decided to not saw anything. Rather, she would answer his question in a different way. She got a hold of one of his hands that rested on her waist and brought it up to her neck to make him feel the single piece of jewelry that was resting around her neck. She traced his finger over the chain until his fingers felt a pendant that hung in the middle of the chain.

"I remember this Prem." Heer said. Prem touched his fingers over her pendant. You took my breathe away😳😳

::

He couldn't believe it.

"You still have it Heer?" He said softly.

"I can never take it off.... because you gave it to me." Heer said. She stood a bit on her tippy toes to reach for his cheek and upon reaching it; she placed a soft kiss on his cheek.

Prem stood there in shock. She did not just do what he thought she did. Did Heer Mann just give him a kiss? That was the greatest accomplishment ever! No one ever got a kiss from her, except his little brother Preet. If he knew that he would get a kiss for not keeping in touch with her for two years, then he wouldn't have returned to meet her until the next thirty to forty years. Then he would have gotten what he had always wanted from her. Aww..the kiss was too sweet for words😳😳

He watched her slid out of the room and in no time, he followed her back into the party. As he saw all the girls and guys enjoying a romantic dance with their significant other, he decided to ask Heer for a dance. After all, it had been a full two, long years since he met her.

But in on time, a cluster of girls surrounded him and he had to give in to the first one that came to him.

"Prem can we dance? Please." Ashlesha whined like a two year old girl.

Prem looked at Heer. And he wasn't surprised to see her flashing him her ever so-adorable smile. He couldn't understand what was up with her. Didn't she ever feel jealous of seeing him with another girl? Wasn't the any girl that makes her feel jealous?

He obliged to Ashlesha and he joined the dance with the rest of the couples. Aww..this is our Prem😉😉 All throughout the dance, he remembered all the times he spent with Heer in the past. He remembered when he gifted her the heart-shaped, diamond pendant as a token of his friendship. But he knew that it wasn't just limited to friendship. And he was sure that she knew this as well. If that wasn't the case, then why would she still have it with her?

After a three long hours of continuous partying, there united headed towards their home. Each person headed towards their own car after saying their last goodbyes. Prem watched as Heer said bye to all her friend, who were in turn, his friends as well. Heer was just like the female version of what Prem was. Prem knew how each and every guy in the school had a mad crush on her. Who wouldn't anyways? She was intelligent, beautiful, respective, well-mannered, disciplined, and down to earth. A reflection of what Prem was. Maybe that's was why each of their college mates found them as being made for each other.

When he saw her approach towards her friend's car, he caught up to her, pulled her wrist and dragged her towards his car. Prem opened the passenger door to his car and waited for her to settle in. Heer looked at him and shook her head in disbelief. She pulled out her phone and called her friend who she came with for the party.

"Hello. Meher. Woh'" Heer was about to continue when Meher took over.

"I know. I know. Maine dekha usse. Yaar do saal baad mila hai. Abb toh usse keh deh Heer." Meher said. The naughtiness in her voice was clearly visible.

"Bye Meher." Heer said completely ignoring her friend's comment. Heer looked at a smiling Prem and settled herself in his car. Prem made his way around his car and settled himself in the driver's seat. He started the car and drove to the place where they first started their relationship. That was, his mother's Samadhi.

They both got out of their car and headed towards his mother's grave. Prem had been shattered when his mother had passed away. But that was the time when he found out how much his pain meant to Heer. The way she supported him throughout that time was something he could never forget. As he reached to her side, he smiled at her and slid his hand into her. And together, they went to his mother's burial site and prayed to her. As they were walking back to the car, Heer found her wrist being gripped by the man she had been madly in love with. Prem gently pulled her under the shade of a tree and made her stand with her back against the tree. Prem placed his hands of either side of her and closed the little distance that was between them. Once again he rested his head against hers' and let out a sign.👏

"I'm sorry Heer." He said. The honesty was clearly visible in his voice.

"I wanted to keep in touch with you. But with Maa's death, I had to handle Dad and Preet alone. I joined law school and started my practice so that Dad wouldn't think that we all have stopped living. We tried to make things as easy as possible for him." He paused for a while and then decided to say what he had wanted to say since the day he last met her.

"I'm sorry for that day. When you came to my house to cheer me up. All I did was get all my frustration out on you. I know I broke your heart. But you have no idea how I lived the past two years without seeing you. I called you so many times to say sorry. But after hearing your voice, I was scared. I didn't want to lose you Heer. I-" he stopped when he felt her feather-like fingers over his lips. He saw her eyes glittering off the understanding and the trust she had in him.

"Mai jaanti hu Prem. Koi safai deene ke zarurat nahi hai. I know you inside out." She said and she held his face in her hands. Now this is our Heer, pure inside out😃

He couldn't believe how she could love him so much.

"Itna bharosa accha nahi hota?" He said in a quiet whisper.

"Isse bharosa nahi, aetbaar kehte hai. Mujhe tum par aetbaar hai. Apne pyaar par aetbaar hai. Aur main jaanti hu ke tum kabhi kissiko dukh nahi de sakte. Tume ho hi inte acche." Heer stated with a smile. 👏👏👏

Not able to resist his own love anymore, he snuggled close to her lips and kissed her. 😳😳It was a sweet kiss. But none the less powerful. Prem could feel himself pleading to her for forgiveness. As he felt her kiss him back, he felt a huge burden melt away in his heart. She forgave him. She still loved him. And he none the less, loves her even more now. The kiss ended on a sweet note as well. He saw her give him a reassuring smile.

Her smile brought a smile onto his face and without wasting any more time, he pulled her into a tight hug. She snuggled close to his chest knowing very well that he loved her beyond belief. At one point in time, Prem had almost sacrificed his own life to save her life. And her unbelievable trust in her love had brought him back into her life. Forever!

The hug reflected the trust they had in each other. It reflected the love they shared for each other. It reflected the understanding that they had.

Sacche pyaar me Intezaar hota hai, Vishwas hota hai, and sabse zyada Aetbaar hota hai!⭐️

Here I am with another oneshot. Well it's only part one of the oneshot. I have one more part to finish so hang on there. Will post it when I get a time. Hope you enjoy reading it.

The story popped into my mind when I was listening to Hariharan's song "Tu Hi Re" from the movie Bombay. I hope you like it!

Tu Hi Re

::

Prem was trying. He was trying so hard. But it was difficult for him to go against what he had always considered the truth.

He had seen the shattered relationship that his parents had shared when he was little. He couldn't understand why his parents married each other in the first place. If they despised each other so much, then what was core reason for his and his brother's existence? Were they both a symbol for their parent's love or just a formality that resulted from their consummation?

Why did they have to share their hatred in front of him and his baby brother? He remembered how his father would slap his mother and then his mother would accuse his father for having affairs with prostitutes. Their relationship disgusted him. He still remembers how his Dadi told him that his parents had a love marriage. But was it really a love marriage? Was it an infatuation that they over came after marrying each other? Did they love each other at all? Did love really exist in this world?

He was still pondering over the last question. Yes, love did exist. But there were different expressions of love. He loved his fifteen-year old brother, Preet. Preet was his life after his slapdash parents died in a car crash. Being six years older then him, Preet considered his PB to be his everything.

::

Preet had also encountered the differences that had always existed between his parents. But for him, his PB was always there to cheer him up. Even though he was still a teenager, he understood everything. He was mature enough to understand his brother and how he felt. And now, his only task in life was to make him realize that true love did exist. Preet was not only trying to make his brother realize that two people can fall in love with each other, he was trying to fulfill the promise that he made to his Heer Bhabhi.

::

After a hectic day at office, Prem returned home late. He was tired and exhausted. He quietly unlocked the door and slipped inside. After carefully closing the door behind himself, he headed towards his room. He opened his bedroom only to find his relief medicine missing. He walked inside his massive room with his gaze scrutinizing her fragile figure. One look at her glowing face and he could feel all his exhaustion and fatigue drain out of himself. She did that everyday. She was always there to greet him when he came home. Then where was she today. As much as he tried, he couldn't stop himself from his pondering thoughts. Where as she?

Caring less about his exhaustion, he left his room and went around the antique mansion to look for her. He knew where she would be other then his room at this time.

He curiously made his way across the hallway to his baby brother's room. As he stood in front of his brother's door, he could sense her being close. A melodious round of laughter made his insides curl into little, bouncy springs. By just listening to her sweet laugh, a smile would automatically form on his lips. As he moved closer towards the door, he could hear his younger brother accompany his wife in the series of laughter.

The eagerness to see her beautiful face made him open the door slowly. Upon opening the door, he found both Bhabhi and devar immersed into a huge pile of papers. He could already guess. As usual, Preet had not finished one of his projects. He could imagine his entire plan inside his head. Preet coming home all scared and rushed up from school. When Heer would have questioned him about his problem, he would have made the most adorable pout ever and convinced his sweet Bhabhi to help him finish his project. And being the sweetest person that he has ever known, he knew she would have left all her work and prepared herself to save her devar from drowning.

He couldn't hold back the chuckle when he saw how vigorously they both were working to get the task down.

::

"Another one down, sixty more pages to go!" declared a proud Preet who had just completed the fifteenth math worksheet. Heer, who was busy calculating the instructions on the calculator, gave Preet a deadly look. Looking at his poor Bhabhi's face, he whispered a low "sorry."

"Kitni baar kaha hai ke project time par karo. Lekin tum kyu karoge? Bhabhi joh hai ghar pe tumhara kaam karne ke liye." Heer said as she flew past the next four worksheets. Preet could sense the fake anger in her voice. But more then that, he could sense that Heer was in some dilemma.

Preet knew that he had gotten a little to far this time by paying too much attention to his baseball activities and neglected doing a little homework here and there. But there was no doubt that all his teachers knew him well and they knew that he was the brightest student from his entire class cum school. Preet was his elder brother's shadow. And Preet was proud to be like his brother. He knew that his brother was very intelligent. He was wealthy and famous today because of all his hard-work, his efforts, his dedication, and his intelligence.

His PB had proven to him his intelligence by marrying his Heer Bhabhi. Heer Bhabhi was plain old awesome. At first, Preet had been very abundant on not getting his PB married to anyone because he knew how simple his PB was. His PB deserved a girl who could understand him.

To Preet's surprise, his Dadi had found the perfect match for his PB. His Heer Bhabhi was the girl that would understand his brother more then anyone else in the world. But after they both got married to fulfill his Dadi's last wish, he could see that both of them shared a relationship that was not able to be described in words. They weren't like all the other couples that he had encountered in his life. They both were the best of all friends. They were understanding and honest to each other. And through the course of the past two years, he had seen the love that was present between them. The only disappointing part was that his PB had always neglected the fact that he loved her. Preet had seen his Bhabhi's love for his PB. And it hurt Preet to know that his brother was not ready to accept his love for his Bhabhi.

Preet had seen his brother lose his faith in love after seeing the outcome of his parent's love marriage. His belief in love was shattered into pieces when he had seen them hate each other so much. As much as his PB loved his Heer Bhabhi, he wasn't ready to call it love. He didn't want their relationship to break at any point.

Since the day they both got married, Preet had always been trying his level best to patch them up as a loving couple. They both cared and loved each other tremendously. Now it was up to him to make his PB confess and accept his love.

::

Heer had her full concentration on Preet's homework. But from time to time, she would check on the clock to see if it was time for him to be home yet. Seeing Preet's miserable state, she didn't have the heart to say no to her baby devar. Since the day she got married to Prem, he had been the one to strengthen their relationship. In whatever way it was, Preet had been her back bone. She, in turn could do anything for her baby devar. After all, Prem loved his brother the most in this world. She could at least do this for him.

::

"Aaj toh tumhare bhai ko bhukha hi soona padega." Heer murmured to herself. But Preet nonetheless heard her and chuckled. Heer had been helping him all day with the ton that he brought home to complete. He looked at her sorry face and chuckled once again.

Heer looked up at Preet and gave him a glare.

"Aab haas kyu raha hai? Preet isse jaldi khatam kar. Dus bajne wale hai. Prem atta hi hoga. Aggar usse pata chalega ke tumhe apne homework nahi khatam kiya toh woh gussa hoga. Then no more sports for you." Heer explained to him the consequences.

Preet knew that she was right. He decided to finish his homework before his PB came home. When he reached a little forward from his bed to get a ruler, he saw a shadow on the floor. He traced his eyes up and saw that his brother was standing near the door with a cute smile playing his lips.

::

Prem put a finger over his lips to tell Preet from saying anything. Preet understood it and took a look at his Bhabhi. He knew that she was in for a lot of irritation by both of them.

Heer was sitting on his bed with her back to Prem. She saw him smiling at her.

"Abb haas kyu rahe ho?" Heer asked him. This brat sure loved annoying her. Preet grinned widely.

"Kuch nahi. Aise hi." Preet answered sweetly.

::

Prem stood behind her enjoying their conversation. It always amused him to see them both like that. At times, he would think that Preet was more of Heer's brother then his.

It hurt him to not give her the love the she deserved from him. But he was scared to lose her. Love always brought in misunderstandings. He would prefer to be her best friend. At least she would trust him. He knew that he loved her since the day she accepted to marry him.

Prem came from a middle class family. Money had always been the reason behind the rift between his parents. Maybe that's why he worked so hard to achieve the title of India's Youngest and Most successful business tycoon.

Their marriage was arranged by his Dadi and Heer's parents. Heer had accepted him even though she came from a wealthy and rich family herself. Before they were married, Prem had to struggle very hard to achieve his status. Heer had supported him whole heartedly. Maybe that's why they are the best of friends.

Prem knows that Heer loves him. She had always loves him. He loved him nonetheless. She had brought so much happiness into his house. She took care of all his needs. She took care of Preet as if he was her own kid.

But he didn't know how to tell her that he loved her. He didn't know how to ask for forgiveness for not giving her the love that she deserved.

Next part will be posted as soon as possible! Please remember to post your comments!
