⭐️Character Sketch:

Suryakamal : Meet the main male protagonist of the story who is dedicated to providing nothing but the best to his family, even if it means sacrificing his own needs and wishes. A simpleton by looks, but has a heart of gold. He is the one who falls in the quote "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it" ' Aristotle. He is greatly educated, having a Masters degree in Physical Sciences. He has the wishes, thoughts and dreams, but never conditions them to be fulfilled. He is a man of character, so don't judge him by his looks. But he does has an avid interest in reading books and has a quite a collection in his room.

Preeti: Meet the main female protagonist of the story who is dedicated to meeting her parent's expectations and wishes, but has a little mind of her own when it comes to making decisions. She is one who will care for her parents but at the same time has hard time compromising when changes happen in life. She is spoilt in terms of that by her family. She is really outgoing, likes to talk a lot and joke around. She has been a diehard fan of all our gorgeous and 'maar java' bollywood actors. She even has a secret crush on our very own Shahid Kapoor, and has a secret desire to marry him one day. It's a different story that Shahid Kapoor doesn't know her. She hates books as she feels that life is a fantasy and that one should create their own fantasy. But she has this soft corner within her as well where whenever she does something for someone she doesn't like to show it off! But if on the other hand something wrong is being done to someone, she is not one of those who will keep quiet regardless of the situation.

Summi: Summi is Preeti's cousin. They have been inseparable since childhood. They have seen many dreams together with their bolly actors and hope that one day they get the chance to meet none other the Shahid Kapoor. Summi is just as carefree as wind, going from one place to another, the only thing that keeps her grounded her is Preeti. Preeti is her go-to person for anything life has to offer her.

Rishi: He has the same character as in the show.

The Storyline:

Preeti and Summi have been married off to Suryakamal and Rishi respectively. Summi found a perfect match (or that's what it seems right now) and are having a smooth sailing so far. On the other hand, Preeti is still questioning why she agreed to marry this bookworm type looking person. She is regretting every moment of going through the emotional torture of accepting her mother's proposal. She is wondering how a girl who makes her own decisions got so emotionally flooded that when the flood came she had already drowned into it. But knowing that this is her mother's last wish, she decides to keep her mom happy but fulfilling her wish. She has been dying every day of the past month of being married to a bookworm (that's what she calls Suryakamal in her head). On the other hand Suryakamal is happy that he got married to Preeti, till that one day when she clearly told him that this was a marriage of convenience rather than out of choice. Since then, they both have been showing that they are happy in public but when alone, there is nothing between them but silence, except on few occasions when they have their daily scheduled talk about how their day went.

After coming from work, Suryakamal, goes to his room to find Preeti smiling, watching some of her DVDs that her brother sent her. Preeti doesn't realize that Suryakamal has entered the room until he sneezes and it back to their "hello Ji", "Din kaisa that Ji" from Suryakamal. Preeti would ask the same questions back without answering the questions. The silence came back to the room. Preeti goes to the kitchen to get dinner ready and exits the room. Another day comes to an end. It's another one of those same nights that have been coming everyday for Suryakamal. Getting his pillow and blanket heads to the little couch in their bedroom and goes to sleep. However, for Preeti, it's a night that has changed her perception on quite a few things in life. For her, tomorrow is a day of change, a day where...........

So guys let me know how you like the idea? I know it's not much different from the current storyline, but I am still giving it a try. This is my very first try at writing a fanfic, so please forgive me for all those spelling and grammar errors, as well if there is no flow to the story' let me know along with your suggestions to get the story better.
