Maverick Productions churns out curtain raiser For The Fair One Filmfare Awards

This is why this adroit actor is called TV hottie and this is why he has pocketed Bollywood flick 'Lips – The Kiss of Death' in a lead role so quickly in his career and this is why this luminous star has launched his production house 'Maverick' to churn out TV-Film projects & entertainment events. He is a gentle human … and aptly fits well on the definition of a good human being…this is what his fans and people around him claims for him. He is determined and success is bound to come to him.
Now, his Maverick Productions has another feather to its cap since the abode is going to produce curtain raisers for 'The Fair One Filmfare Awards 2005' and this domicile is also introducing 'The Fair One – Face of the Year Award' in association with Sony Entertainment Channel.
Fair One is sponsoring the Filmfare awards in its 51st year in 2005 and for at least another 02 years thereafter. Anuj Saxena's Maverick Productions is doing a host of programming for "The Fair One Film fare Awards 2005", which is being sponsored by Elder Pharma (Anuj's family business). All programming is being done in association with Sony Entertainment Television. Maverick's first show -- Khiladi No 1 is already on air on Zee Smile. Maverick has made more than ten ad films. The most prominent being Tiger Balm, A.M. P.M. mouthwash and Fair One, which are on air. Maverick would be making a foray into film production soon. Javed Jaffery and Gaurav Gera would be anchouring the curtain raisers. Javed Jaffery would be playing a character from Salaam Namaste. Gaurav Gera will play his assistant who is a wannabe music director. In a special three-hour flash back episode to be aired on 19th Feb, the conception of the awards and cinema over the years will be shown.
The nominees for 'The Fair One Face of the Year' award to be given by Elder Pahrma and presented by Sony Ent Channel are 'Vidya Balan, Minissha Lamba, Sneha Ullal, Katrina Kaif and Tanishaa'. Popular actor-dancer Javed Jaffri will interview each nominee in each episode of the curtain raiser that will be aired from 20th to 24th of February. This mammoth event of awards will be held on 25th February in Mumbai. The winner of Fair One face of the year would be announced at the awards night.
