Padam Shree to Rekha and Saif - Is it Jusified?

Padma Shree ' the fourth highest civilian honor of India is under a serious controversy this year. The selection of Rekha and Saif Ali Khan from bollywood for this prestigious award has questioned the credibility of the selection guidelines and benchmarks. Bollywood is loaded with some really deserving personalities who made have immense contributions to the society as a whole. Someone really needs to dream off to recall the contribution of Rekha and Saif to the country. Giving two hits in a row or standing on the far side of an average career are by no means the factors to be a 'Padam Shree'. Is there no candidature from army, navy or air force? It feels shocking to know that patriotism of Indian Armed forces stands below two celebrities to be honored by state. Well, this years awards have taught a serious lesson to the masses of India. "Don't get surprised if Ramalinga Raju gets one Padam Shree next year for the largest scam in India." 😒 😕
