consists of three generations. It is an interesting blend of characters right from
old grandfather who is 75 years old and up to his grandson who is 10 years old.
The story's focus is on the bonding and togetherness amongst these family
members.
Like every other normal family, the members of Mahajan family too have
their own likes, dislikes, happy moments, sad moments, positive and negative
traits. All in all, nobody amongst is perfect but they still live together in harmony
under one roof….till an unfortunate event stirs up the otherwise calm and united
Mahajans. As a result of this event misunderstandings, hatred, personal prides
creep in and overpower the love and bonding between the family for so many
years. The very idea of 'togetherness' is lost, giving rise to separate kitchens
within the same house.
'Kimayaa', one of the granddaughters, shares a very special bond with her
grandfather 'Anna'. As Kimayaa had lost both her parents early during her life,
she is loved and protected by every other member of the family. After the
unfortunate event, Kimayaa returns from a month long camp to find the family
love and bonding lost. She is devastated to see her family collapsing apart, her
'close knit' family that always made her proud.
Kimayaa tries her best to rebuild the love, trust and bonding within the
family but her simple and straightforward efforts go in vain. She then schemes up
a plan with the help of 'Anna' and 'Dr. Pai', a close friend of the family. A plan
that will trigger the good emotions and love the family members have forgotten
about.
With the help of Dr. Pai, she successfully convinces the family that she
has been diagnosed with cancer. The family is devastated after hearing this
news. But slowly Kimayaa's plan starts showing results. While sympathizing,
protecting and caring Kimayaa, the Mahajans unknowingly start burying their
differences and begin to reconnect with each other.
As the plan goes on smoothly and as we feel that the family is being
restored, a very sad truth unfolds in front of us…Kimayaa in reality is diagnosed
with cancer, a secret shared only between Kimayaa and Dr. Pai.
The story reveals many untold facts about Kimayaa's life in front of 'Anna'
and the rest of the family. The drama stirs up further when we come across
Kshitij's dilemmas, Kimayaa's close friend whose life took a turn for something
good because of Kimayaa, the reactions of the family to the horrifying news of
Kimayaa's illness, their efforts to keep Kimayaa happy and their coping up with
the fact that Kimayaa is going away from them day by day….
In simple words, this is a story about a close knit family and out of the
ordinary efforts taken by a simple girl to keep the family always united…
