Katrina nudges Prakash Jha to include some dramatic scenes in Raajneeti that will enhance her chances of winning a National Award

Prakash Jha's Raajneeti isn't in the news only because of the chemistry between the lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Those on the sets of this political thriller in Bhopal say that the film is also special to Kat not only because she is the only female protagonist; she is also hoping the film will get her a National Award.

A source on the sets says, "Katrina is very keen on winning a National Award. She doesn't seem to hanker after the rest of the awards, but yes, on the sets she often mentioned that winning the National Award would mean the world to her."

An insider adds that, in her own clever way, Katrina has told filmmaker Prakash Jha to try and give her a couple of dramatic scenes with the twice National Award-winning actor Ajay Devgan (Zakhm, The Legend of Bhagat Singh). And she is hopeful that Raajneeti is her big ticket to India's biggest acting honour.

Katrina, of course says, "The script of the film is exactly as it was. And I certainly don't think I'm winning the National Award."

However, it is said that the actress even volunteered a price-cut but is keen that she is able to match histrionics with the other award-winning actors... and has said this to Prakash Jha in so many words.

I won't bet on it...Indian govt can be little out of shape. They will give out the award without evn knowing thatt she is not Indian.....can happen....😉😆

Lets see how is Rajniti.....actually like the name this movie is becoming Rajniti within its cast itself.....As yet no news coming out from any other actors side its only one person doing all the talking...

Crystal...when the movie is out and she is great then why not...

but if the rules are for only Indians then the authorities should abide by that...I think Kat should get Indian citizenship quick....now we do have dual citizenships...

Let us wait for the movie...

Oh..now theh chances look really Slim...

Now with the news out by the jury member than the NAtional awards were rigges this year with the bollywood ACTORS and DIRECTORS calling shot and asking for favors.😉😉 It was so obvious with Hum Tum winning...They also asked Sharmila...she was on Jury when Saif was given the award.

Now it is going tobe fair for the coming couple of years and then again the lobbying will start...

So now it it official that actors SNATCH awards if it is in their hands...😆😆 and then feel HAPPY about it....how SHALLOW are these people.

Am i reading the wrong article? Can someone please point out where katrina ACTUALLY mentioned winning National Award? All i read is this from her quotes

Medias (..😆favorite close sources) are giving all these articles....

True or not I have no clue....

But in coming years Bollywood is going tohave hard time collecting NAtional awawrds after the controversy of this year.....I mean India is not only (even though I am from Delhi) is not only Bollywood. We have Kolkata, South India Indutry and even punjab....
