Written Update (12th Jan, 2010):
Recap : A group of folk singers enter the house . The leader of them turns out to be father of Tulika . Dhirubhai hears him calling himself the father of Tulika and she agreeing .He asks for an explanation , which Ishwar Lal gives by telling that ,t he man is infact the guru of Tulika . He has givin her all the knowledge , so she considers him her father-like .Dhirubhai is very impressed .
The episode starts with Pinky asking the group to start the dance practice , but Tulika's father says he wants to meet his daighter first . Meanwhile , Dhirubhai comes around and gets excited about the upcoming 'Sangeet ' program . Raju enters Tulika's room , angry over some ' aurat ' , to which Tulika replies that her father is obviously an 'aadmi ' . Raju replies that he is not talking about her father but her mother . Tulika says sheepishly that if her mother has also come there , but she has been dead for 4 years . So how is it possible ?!. Raju gets frustrated and says that he is talking about her fake mother 'damini devi ' , who is taking shower for last 1 and half hours . Thus he has to sit waiting . Tulika advices him to use her bathroom . Just as Raju leaves , Tulika's father enters . Tulika asks him to leave the house , but he says that 'jahan beti wahan baap ' . Tulika gets angry and says he has no right over her as she has got married .
His father doesn't believe her and ask her if she is married where is her husband . Raju just comes of the bathroom and Tulika says that he is her husband .
Raju walks into the room of Apoorva who is asking Arti to dance on a song selected by him , which by mistake turns out to be ' jai santoshi maa' arti. Raju says to Arti that Priti bhabhi is calling her downstairs for dance practice .
Priti is teaching dance steps to Arti , by hinting the steps like 'roti ghoda' , on which Paresh gets angry as he is sleeping near by , and they both are disturbing him . Pinky handles him by explaining that she has been asked to keep Arti busy and if he objected to it , he is going to get pay cut !
Raju tells Apoorva that he is not going to play so many roles as Tulika is making him her husband . Apoorva is surprised . Just then Tulika enters and tells Apoorva that , in her tribe girl's father doesn't even drink water of her husband's house . so he will leave . Apoorva is impressed and says that it is a brilliant plan . Raju is reluctant initially but then agrees.
Dhirubhai is busy doing his riyaz for 'sangeet' . Damini devi enters his room , and they both talk about the 'sangeet' program . Damini says that she is also singing . Sangeet is happening with Dhirubhai singing 'aaj hamare ghar mei' from Ham Apke Hain Kaun.
Tulika's father tells his co-singers that Tulika has married . An old lady from the group tells that even if she has married the custom of dowry must be performed else Kumbhakeshwari Devi will get angry and bad things will happen to them . She advices his to ask for 50,000 , so that they get 35,000 in bargain . As it a custom in their tribe that dowry is given by groom's side to the bride side .
Tribal group comes into the room of Tulika , Raju is also standing there . Tulika's father says to Raju that he wanted to talk about dowry with him . Raju gets excited thinking that he might get money . Tulika warns him that , it is different in their tribe , but he doesn't listen to her .
Tulika's father starts with 50,000 rs but raju says tht he spends this much in a single day ! He settles for the amount of 10 lakh . Group becomes over joyed and starts dancing , Raju joins them .
Tulika's father do a tikka to Raju , and asks him to pay 10 lakh now . Raju doesn't understand what he is saying ? Tulika explains the custom to him . Raju is aghast , he almost falls !
Raju says that let's cancel this as they don't believe in giving or taking dowry , Tulika's father gets angry says once 'tikka' is done , it can't be undone .
Raju tells Tulika that her father is repeatedly asking if money is ready or not . Tulika replies that , tell him that money is ready . He asks where from has she got the money , Tulika says she has borrowed money on the name of Apoorva . Raju is shocked and says he is goinna tell this to Apoorva .
Tulika and Paresh quickly give the bag to Tulika's father , who is very happy to see the money . Tulika says that he is accepting her daughter's money , and so Kumbhakeshwari devi will get angry on him .
It turns out that it is a plan of Tulika and Paresh . As Tulika's father turn away , Paresh quickly takes out a sheet of bank notes , under which there are just stones in the bag !
Tulika prays loudly that 'Kumbhakeshwari devi please turn the money into stone ' , her father shreds it off and leaves with the bag.
Apoorva is calculating the total expenditure he has made so far , when Raju comes and tells him of the 10 lakh Tulika has borrowed on his name . Apoorva is shocked and runs towards Tulika .
Where he asks her if she even knows what a big amount 10 lakh is . Tulika and Paresh then explains them their whole plan . Apoorva becomes happy but asks what when his father finds out that there is no money in bag , Tulika replies that she has prayed that ,so his bappu willt think that it is due to curse of Kumbhakeshwari devi that the money turned into stones. Everyone is happy now.
