Written Update (11th Jan, 2010):
The episode starts with Dhirubhai telling the family to leave the house. Pallavi however asks 2 minutes to tell him something while rest of the family is worried. She tells Dhirubhai and Arti that she was first married to a man named Mohit. He later died and she had to live the life of a widow. She tells them that Apoorva's family was great enough to accept her in the family and get her married to Pankaj. She further says that since that day the family had promised not to speak a word about it to anyone. They are all about to leave when Dhirubhai stops them and asks Pallavi about Mohit (the Mehendi guy). Apoorva clarifies that she didn't even know who he was. Arti then questions Pallavi what she was trying to hide from her the other day. Pallavi tells her that she had broken a glass and was hiding it. Dhirubhai is ashamed of the misnderstanding and falls on his knees to say sorry. They all sort out the problem and go inside. Apoorva thanks Pallavi.
*BREAK*
An old man enters the house calling out for Tulika. Everyone comes downstairs ncluding Tulika who calls this man her 'Bappu' (father). Dhirubhai is shocked as goes towars Ishwarlal and takes his beard, mustache, and wig to find Rajesh. Dhirubhai slaps Rajesh while Tulika shouts "No......". She then wakes up to find others (Apoorva's family exluding him) around her bed and realizes that she had been dreaming. When asked, she says that she had a dream of her father coming to the house. She further explains how she ran away from Gujarat to Mumbai just to be away from him. She now fears that her dream will come true as she saw it in the morning. Pinky Bhabhi consoles her by saying that's not true because she has always dreamed about dancing with Hritik Roshan. Pallavi consoles Tulika saying that her father will never know they are there. Pinky Bhabhi then tells the group that she has invited a very good dance group for the 'sangeet' that night. Everyone is happy.
*BREAK*
Paresh and Tulika argue because there is a ladder by the front door and Paresh climbs it without seeing. Apoorva comes in and sends Paresh to bring the "ghada" (pot). Meanwhile Pinky bhabhi brings in the dance group. She introduces the old man and Totaram (I guess) one of the woman in the group to Apporva (sorry I couldn't catch their name) Apoorva is annoyed with them and asks Pinky why they are there. She tells him that they are the dancers for the "sangeet". Tulika comes there andshe sees the old man. Apoorva questions her why she is shaking like that and she tells them that the old man is her father. Everyone is shocked. Apoorva is worried and tries to explain her dad that its a very emergency situation. Dhirubhai comes down to see who is making so much noise. Seeing Tulika's father he asks who the old man is. Before anyone answers, Damini who was watching everything, comes and tells Dhirubhai that the old man is a father. Apoorva explains that his mom meant to say at that age he must be someone's father and to respect other's is their responsibility. However Tulika's dad pull her from behind and tells Dhirubhai that he is her father. When Dhirubhai doesn't seem to be believing, Tulika's dad tells her to tell the truth. Tulika says "Yes."
*BREAK*
Ishwarlal comes there asking why there was so much noise outside. Apoorva tells him that the old man is claiming Tulika to be his daughter. Ishwarlal has a scared expression on his face while Dhirubhai has an angry look. He questions how the man could be Tulika's father. Here Apoorva is telling his fake dad (Rajesh) to handle the situation through hand signals. Ishwarlal tells Dhirubhai to calm down but he insists on knowing the truth. Ishwarlal tells Pinky to send the dancers away but tells Tulika to stay back. He tells Bhirubhai that the man was Tulika's guruji who taught her things like how to cook, etc. Tulika too agrees but Dhirubhai questions why the man was claiming to be her dad. Ishwarlal says that he is just her birth-father but it was guruji who gave education to his daughter and taught her so many things. He gives an example how Dhirubhai is Arti's uncle in relationship but has taken care of her more like a father. Everyone has a satisfied smile on their face. Dhirubhai believes them and goes up-stairs. They all breathe a sigh of relief.
