I am 100% sure that Daya tried to commit suicide before Abhijeet joined. I remember Viren doing all the investigation. Pls be patient...it will come this week.

Oh Ok, 2000-01 did seem unlikly time for Daya Sir to take such a rash decision but early in the career is possible. New to the job, charged with Murder, Supended and your own team is investigating you. It must be so tough on young Daya Sir. He could have taken such a rash decision then but not by 2000-01 almost 4 years in the job. Till then he was this tough guy we know. Thanks visrom

I can bet on my life that.........you're right. I'm not sure. But will say that it would've been 2000-2001. Plzzz don't consider my suggestions seriously(unless I say I'm 100% sure, as in Abhijit's 1st episode) because I was a 4 year old kid whoi got fascinated by anything I saw, you know.

I also think it was an episode from the Viren era. Most likely a 1997 episode. Man those last few minutes were gripping with Daya so close to killing himself.

O My God. It will be difficult to watch but I can't wait to watch it. I felt terrible seeing him cry when his family was taken hostage. This one will be.........don't have any words, just need to wait to see it.

Earlier so many cases would end at the peak of drama. Yesterday's Paresh's (Adi Sir) Episode, I was almost going to fall off during the end, had goosebumps all over my hands. Abhi Sir first Episode when they go back to defuse the bomb. The climax of THE CASE OF INJURED WITNESS, THE CASE OF STOLEN CAR. Uffffffffff that element of thrill, was just wow. 10 years later that scene still has the same effect it must have had when it was aired. You know these officers are going to be around for the next 10-12 years but at that moment you get so involved in the scene wishing nothing happens to them. Some will say its filmy but thats what entertains you, thrills you. These days in the name of realism yeh drama khatam ho gaya hai. Its not there in movies and serials...well rone-dhone mein thrill kahan se aayega.

Are you guys talking the case where Daya shoots a person when he's not suppose to? And then ACP yells at him for killing and suspends him. Daya doesnt have any proof to prove himself innocent and later on he decides to commit suicide?

Actually In that episode, Daya does fire his gun but the bullet doesnt hit the victim and its too dark to see whether the victim was still alive or dead or still there on that place. The murderer takes away the Daya's bullet and then murderer kills the victim because he wants to take revenge on Daya and that Daya should leave CID and all..

At the very end, the murderer confesses that he killed the victim and that Daya is innocent and that's when Daya joins CID again😃

Is this the case you are talking about😕
