KK is crazed w/ anger @ everything that's happening to Jyoti, and cursing the gods for all this. Padma tries to calm him down, telling him that his health would deteriorate if he continued like that. KK has an almost total breakdown, and Padma sends Deepu to find Jyoti.
Kalpana is leaving her clinic. While she is waiting in the car, a group of people arrive at the clinic carrying Jyoti, who had fainted earlier. They try to talk the clinic staff into admitting her, and the staff tells them that this is a psychiatric clinic, not a hospital. Kalpana goes there to see what the commotion is, and is shocked to see that it's Jyoti. 😲😲
Back at home, Sudha is crying that Jyoti had yet not arrived home, according to Deepu, and is terrified at the thought of Jyoti doing something self destructive. Uday tells her not to think in those terms, and tells her that he'd look for her. Sudha wants to go w/ him, but Uday tells her that she's not in the right condition to do it. She begs to go, and finally, Uday lets her come w/ him. Downstairs, CM is doing a post mortem of why would Jyoti have married a blind guy like Pankaj. She mourns that Pankaj wanted to be left alone, and Jyoti is the one responsible for this condition of his.
She then sees Uday & Sudha coming, and asks them where they are off to? Uday tells her that Sandeep called to tell them that even though Jyoti had left, she hadn't arrived home. Therefore, he thought... CM cuts him short and tells him that it's Sudha who told him what to think, and repeats her warning to Sudha that if she took Jyoti's side, she wouldn't be allowed in again. She then calms down and also asks Sudha why she is so worried - if she didn't go home, she may have gone somewhere else for her own enjoyment. Sudha protests that her sister ain't like that and she was in danger of hurting herself if left alone, and begs CM to let her go. Uday takes CM aside and asks her to take a good look at Sudha's condition, and that if it deteriorated, her other personality would take over again. As it is, Pankaj was already stressed, and if Sudha became stressed as well, then? He tells her that he's taking her to her parents, and she might improve while she's w/ them. CM is unconvinced but allows him to go, but warns him against even thinking of bringing back the girl who's made her dear son so unstable (meaning Jyoti, not Sudha).
In the Vashishth mansion, MN is alone in his room, and sadly goes to a wall family portrait that has all of them and Jyoti (but not Sudha as yet) and turns away sadly. BM joins him and MN tells her that whatever happened today was the truth, and that all the love that existed b/w them all was just wiped out in 1 day. He can't imagine that the family that he, Gayatri & Bhairavi put together came unravelled just in 1 day. He says that while they did have a setback when Uday married, ultimately everything improved and returned to normal. But today, looking at Pankaj, it looked like everyone was a stranger to him. Today, for the first time ever, he's lost all hope 😭😭 - he doesn't know that things will return to normal.
At Kalpana's home, she's put Jyoti to bed and is treating her. She is now normal - when she got in, she had a very high blood pressure. One of the nurses asks whether something was bothering her. Kalpana thinks so, and maybe that's why Jyoti was coming to visit her, and got unconscious on the way. The nurse asks her if she's a relative, and Kalpana says that it's her best friend.
Sudha and Uday arrive at the Sharma's place. Sudha calls out for Jyoti, and Padma tells her that Jyoti isn't back, but not to worry, Deepu has already gone to look for her. Uday agrees w/ her and tells Sudha that they should wait for him, and if they hear nothing, they'd file a police complaint. He asks Sudha to contain herself, or she'd be even more unwell after all that extra stress. KK in his usual wallowing mode moans about Pankaj trusting Brij over Jyoti (Pankaj had enough legitimate grievances against Jyoti even had Brij not entered the picture). He tells Uday that Pankaj didn't understand Jyoti, or else he would have understood the compulsions under which she had to suppress knowledge of Sushma. He appeals to Uday to recognize that Jyoti ain't a liar, and puts all the blame on Brij, who managed to deceive both families. Sushma blames herself for everything that happened. Uday tells KK that he'll do what he can to convince Pankaj, 👎🏼👎🏼 but before that, he needed to know where Jyoti is. So far, Uday is completely convinced of Jyoti's innocence. 👍🏼👍🏼
Pankaj is standing on his balcony, when the phone rings. It's Kalpana. She tells him that Jyoti was found unconscious on the street, and some people brought her to her clinic, and requests Pankaj to come and take her back. Pankaj tells Kalpana that it's now just his house, not Jyoti's, and Kalpana is shocked. She tells him that it's his duty as Jyoti's hubby to take her back. Pankaj tells her to give that lecture to her friend. Kalpana tells him that he must be under some misunderstanding. Pankaj agrees that he was, but not any more. He accuses Jyoti of marrying him for his cash, and using him, and never treating him as a hubby. He cuts off the phone telling Kalpana that he hates her. 😭😭
Kalpana realizes that what she feared would happen has happened. She goes to Jyoti and hugs her, and asks her what has happened? Jyoti tells her that when she told him all, he removed her from his home and his life for good. They both hug and cry. 😭😭
Jyoti is standing on a bridge over a reservoir/lake(?), thinking to herself that she can't live w/o Pankaj 🤔🤔 She decides to end it all by jumping, and starts climbing to the railing. The scene ends
I was angry @ CM from the precap, but I was happy that Uday managed to convince her to let Sudha go w/ him. However, Sudha didn't need to go home if Jyoti wasn't there. She's otherwise doing fine as a bahu, except for identifying more w/ her maakya than her sasural.
KK was an absolute shameless piece of human debris for trying to make Jyoti look like a saint, and putting all the blame on Brij. Uday being more considerate gave him enough allowance, but it would have been worth pointing out that Uday too was deceived by all the Sharmas, and here they are begging him to be their advocate. So in KK's book, Pankaj, CM and everyone else is supposed to just take what Jyoti did for over a year just lying down. Think of a better excuse.
I liked Uday being sympathetic to the Sharmas, but he should take his own family's side as well, and tell the Sharmas that since he was at the receiving end of their deception, for which they were so far refusing to apologize for, they could hardly expect anything from him re: Jyoti, regardless of whether he thought that she was innocent or not. I don't like the blank check he's giving them - they don't deserve it. And Sudha needs to stop supporting her maakya's lies, and taking her sasural's side on this.
Pankaj could have told Kalpana about grievances other than Jyoti marrying him for his money. How could he, of all people, think that when Jyoti initially refused to marry him due to their differences in status? He could have instead said that he refused to take her back b'cos he realized that she hadn't accepted him into some very basic facts about her family, such as the number of siblings she has!!! That would have made him look less of an asshole.
Jyoti may or may not be pregnant, since she's recovered just fine. But Kalpana should first phone the Sharmas and let them know that Jyoti is w/ her, and then take Jyoti to the hospital for a check-up - people don't just faint on the roads just b'cos they've been kicked out.
P.S. I noticed later from another YouTube clip that I had missed out a good portion of Part 2, so I added that in.
