Heart wrenching episode Jan 1

I wish they had ushered in the new year in a different manner, but the episode was just to gutwrenching.

Jyoti was shredded bare and having lied she had nothing left to say. Brij has won the first round. 😭

Pankaj was just so justified but I do wish he stops to listen to what the others have to say. Jyoti and the lying Sharma family have no face, but Pankaj's uncle does! I hope he comes in and tells him the true choronological series. Where is uncle? Where is Sushma? Where is Devika? Where is that doctor lady (stupid idiot! 😡 Her bad advice broke her best friend's marriage!)

Overall stupendous actiing. I will wait for Vrisha's update.

The saddest part about today's episode from the precap, which I just saw - Jyoti fainting in the middle of the streets, suggesting that she may be pregnant. And given that that's what the original write-up said, this could be more than just a guess.

I hope the pregnancy doesnt come in all these complications... well, even if it does, big deal. Jyoti has her maayka now to support her.. Pankaj wouldnt go to that end like how CM was shouting at Jyoti...so even if she is pregnant, Pankaj "might" not suspect that the child is Brij's. If he does, that would be the end of Jyoti's trust with Pankaj.

I liked what you said about Sudhi. I hope she opens up to Uday, although if I had been in Uday's place, I would always be left with a nagging doubt whether this is also a lie or not. Liars can unfortuaately never be trusted even when they turn truthful 😒

I still feel that the uncle or that dance teacher can help. I hope CV revive those two characters. Mama is especially a good mediator as he is related to the Pankaj family and wont have any ulterior motive.

I also hope Pank takes a vacation for a few days & thinks HARD about the events leading to his wedding. Jyo was never jumping up and down to marry him, in fact she was ever so reluctant. She was not ready to have her suhaag raat too. It shows the attitude of someone NOT ready to commit and not the attitude of someone wanting to milk his money.

But, overall, like Periwinkle said --- my heart cried like anything. I hope no one has to undergo the trauma that both Pank and Jyo are undergoing.

I am also very apprehensive on the Brij story. If Jyo is preggie, will he walk in and try to claim anything? He is such a scumbag, I would not doubt that he can do this.
