Preity Zinta, Out Of Work

Preity Zinta is currently unemployed apart from her advertising work, when her next film Yash Chopra's as yet untitled work is released then she is not signed for anything.

Preity has always worked on the premise of filming one movie at a time so it is not an unfamiliar situation she finds herself in and she has said in the past the lean times have helped her grow her artistic talent.

Zinta's former friend Rani Mukherjee also adopted the same career strategy after Saathiya, she chose not to sign anything because nothing excited her.

Working with Yash Chopra is the thing that excites Preity the most, she likes the way he treats his actors and actresses. In the film Preity takes the part of a Pakistani girl.

Preity joins Karan Johar's next directorial venture at the end of 2004, then there's Vishal Bhardwaj's Mantra.

Incidentally, at a recent press conference Preity was asked by a journalist why there wasn't an embargo on the number of ads she did, the journalist received a quick fire response that took the conference by surprise with the retort should there be a limit to the number of interviews and articles you do, which apparently left the crowd silent
