I know there has been a lot of discussion over the epi. However, after getting over the initial shock of BB's conclusion and the messy ending, I wanted to point out flaws that bother me. Otherwise I can't sleep! Don't worry, no emotional athyachar from me 😆 I will go straight to the point:
Omkaar's wife remains a mystery. He hasn't changed, therefore he won't let Bharti go so easily. It should've been proven that Bharti wasn't his wife. After all, he was a major hindrance in Bharti's life and in ArBi's track. And if (I mean IF cuz I'm not convinced) Bharti returned at the end, then wouldn't the family question this? And more importantly, wouldn't OK chase her again? Like I said, he hasn't changed.
What was the point in Bhaskar-Armaan convo? It was plain awkward and showed that Bhaskar still has Bharti within him. He still seemed very much attached to his feminine side. So if that's the case then how can Bharti be seperated from him at the end? And his words to Armaan left me confused. He told him to not lose the second chance. Was he referring to Priyanka or Bharti? Cuz how would he know abt Bharti coming back? And how can Bharti come back?!! To me it seemed as if he was consoling Armaan. Why bother with all that if Bharti was coming back? Simply a waste of time. It just sounded as if Bhaskar was hinting at Armaan to move on and forget Bharti. Er, point of all that?
If Bharti and Bhaskar were really given seperate identities then there should've been a KK scene to explain why this happened and how. They can't just expect us to assume that this has happened. Such things shouldn't be left open for interpretation. It's just plain confusing. Too much time was wasted on the dance at MU. They should've given us a KK scene in order for us to understand what has actually happened. Cuz think abt it, if Bharti has been freed from Bhaskar in order to be with Armaan, then will she remember all those special moments? Will she have memory of their special bond? Jeez, I need to know!!
Doesn't matter if you're an ArBi fan or not, there's no denying that they were an integral part of the show. Therefore they should've been given a proper ending. After the build up over the past few days, that was an anti-climax. And using doubles in a final epi that too between two important characters is criminal. No wonder there was no embracing, Aamir and Rags didn't shoot for that scene at the same time. That made the ArBi scene awkward and in my POV, that's why that scene had no magic in it. Two actors that make up a jodi TOGETHER create chemistry and bring their respective characters to life.
So we should feel cheated for not seeing these two fantastic actors together in the PROPER sense. Using cheat shots doesn't make good viewing. It's like pasting two pics together. They probably didn't bother calling Ragini since it was only one scene. I wonder why the director decided to do this. Surely he would've wanted to make the final ArBi scene special. Instead he put two shots together. Not only is that an insult to ArBi fans, it's also an insult to the much loved couple. Even if they hadn't embraced, it would've been nice to have seen a genuine scene between the two. And if Bharti has been seperated from Bhaskar, then why was her behaviour so different? That wasn't typical Bharti ishtyle. If she is now an indvidual, surely her mannerisms should remain the same? To me, she seemed like a duplicate. And NO ArBi confession in the end *wipes tears*
The couples were not equally balanced at the end. Bhaskar-Payal scenes in comparison to ArBi scenes= huge difference. It would've been fair to give both jodis equal footage. And I mean genuine footage. Eijaz and Aanchal shot their scenes together. Only one scene for Aamir and Ragini and that too was bogus. And I was shocked that Ragini was absent from all the action. She carried most of the burden on her pretty shoulders and she was the MAIN protagonist. Writers have left me mind boggled.
Why did Bhaskar beg KK to keep him as Bharti? They shouldn't have bothered with all that crying business on Wedensay if Bhaskar was going to suffer from convenient amnesia at the end. And there was no need to bring in Armaan's wife, cuz valuable screen space was wasted on her 😆 they should've given that to ArBi so that they could've had a decent ending. Her entry was so random.
There are many more things that I could add to the list. But again my post has been stretched too long. I'm probably the Ashutosh Gowarikar of BB forum. Too much detail and never bother editing! But I had to make this post cuz I wanted to say that the final epi was like a jigsaw, with many missing pieces. I know that they must've been under pressure to wrap things up, hence the quick ending. But I didn't even see a genuine attempt by the writers to at least try and tie the loose ends. To me it looks more like a quick job to get it over and done with. There can be no excuses for sloppy writing and bad direction. IMO, the entire epi was juvenile. It could've been MUCH better. Well, I don't know how you all feel. But I feel cheated as an avid fan of the show. I feel cheated for several reasons. but above all, if this was suppose to be a happy ending....then why am I not happy? 😔
