Feelings of an MN/Mayur Fan...

To be a fan of one of the leads of the show (hmmmm, yes , yes LEADS) is the biggest boon and curse of a fan's life.

We are the fans of MN a.k.a Mayur a.k.a Mayank & Nupur ....
and this is our story.....

Disclaimer -->This is not a comparison post, so its not about bashing anybody here, definitely not the other couples or cross couples or their fans or friends of fans or whoever...

I had to put that disclaimer before hand lest the topic becomes a bashing ground n go into a crazy overdrive of emotions.

MN fans in general are like MN, we are up for love, friendships, fights, make-ups all with a passion. Extreme in every sense of the word. The love for MN is as much as the hate (thats the unique part).
We dont care much about being nice to them all the time...MN gets bashed by MN fans more than anyone else. We are always game for some criticism , we are also ready with praise, when the situation so demands. You can term that either as being fair or extreme, but that is the truth.

When and why we Love MN

We love the actors who play MN, almost unanimously. With the little thread that is given to them, and with some exemplary acting they bring MN to life.

They have some absolutely wonderful moments that make us happier that we can express.

Some magical sequences that are almost unseen in Television history.

A capability to convert below average scenes into extremely watchable and likable sequences.

In the beginning of the story a wonderful play of words in terms of dialogues and characterisation.

Some fabulous scenes, chemistry driven scenes, characters that owned the screenplay.

Awesome dances and song sequences that made us forget the originals, unique character appeal.

When and why we Hate MN

We hate ourselves more for being unable to detach ourselves from the show because of a 2 min MN scene. Inspite of quitting, the urge to look through updates to see if there is MN.

We hate MN for being good in scenes where they are wasted, when MN are relegated to the level of background actors, when MN doesnt get time on screen, when MN are given crappy costumes and dialogues.

When MN behave out of character..

When MN is never given importance (other than about a week in every 2 months).

When MN doesnt have a story line...

When MN scenes are made so as to benefit other storylines.

Life of an MN Fan is so drought by these ups and downs that sometimes all we want to do is to quit... Yet we live in hope, try various ways of getting our thoughts across, try writing scenes for the couple, try to do anything that can get us the MN magic...Its a continuous struggle..!

Can we please please please have a STORYLINE for MN please ??
OR is it too much to ask for??

PS - IF you think I m exaggerating, let me be honest , I am NOT :-)

PSS - Please do not give me gyan on how everything is hunky dory with MN..Please dont take the trouble ..because its not and you know it as much as we do...!

I agree completely with you...............MN have been magical...........with their capability to keep us hooked even though we cribbed and cringed............we kept ourselves happy with 1 min 30 secs scenes every alternate day...........when Mayank was sent to bangalore, for the only reason that these two create a magic on screen................

Something that kept us binded to the show, so much so that we would
still catch up the episode on you tube for MN scenes...........

MN have been reduced to mere side characters now..........and it hurts to see such talent wasted........all we want is a story line.............we offer to help, and with no credit whatsoever..............its a fair bargain on both sides...........

So would urge the concerned people to wake up before its too late.........the dipping TRPs after sensational Nov 5 episode is a proof as to how important MN are to the show.................

We wil not hang on for long, we will bid goodbye and be happy with the memories....................

So its upto concern to decide., we lose, u lose 2..........and we win , u win 2.........................

no matter HOW much and how many times we say this....the fact remains that there is no one bothered enough to listen and do something about it.

Even now...it isn't a surprise...but i was watching old mayur scenes and my fav VMs...

And i can't help but post this one VM made by howabtnow...it made me feel so nostalgic...and just after that i read your post and i felt like banging my head on the wall that look at what has happened to our fav characters.

I rec this to everyone who's missing MN as much as I am.....

and btw...this was a fabulously written post yaar. Nothing left to say or do..ecept try to remember those magical moments...because it looks like now they are not written to be seen anymore....

You know what....personally speaking...MN have to be the most creative characters created in television...seriously. Maybe they thought it was a fluke and don't want to dwell on them now...but that fluke turned out to be a hidden gem

Their couple dynamics are such that one can't help but fall in love with them...so much vibrancy...so much colour and life in them..!!

Each and every little thing they do....it goes straight to the heart

And Arjun and Rati just add the sparkle to the diamond. They make it all the more real. And make us fall even more in love with Mayur every passing scene...even now...when they are barely shown in the serial...we wait through the endless monotony for that one scene.

That's what being a Mayur fan is.

Divya...first of all great topic....thanks for giving us the chance to write about our feelings for MN/Mayur/ArTi

Here are my feelings of love and agony of being a MN fan....

First thing that attracted me to the show was the sheer chemistry that Arjun and Rati share while portraying Mayank and Nupur. It's their comfort level with each other combined with their brilliant performances, makes each and every Mayur scene magical. At the beginning of the show, Mayur story had a spark, a sensible track....Mayank....a smart, practical, sarcastic yet helping person...Nupur....a chirpy, bubbly yet deep, sensitive and full of life character. Their story had good interactions, some sarcasm, deep conversations, cute dance practices, beautiful songs, intense emotions for each other, terrible fights... yet care for each other, attraction for each other, intense feelings for each other. Their story had everything....it was unique, it was intense. MN story had it twists and turns...talent parade, academic meet, drama rehersals, misunderstanding and finally out of the world confession. Mayur's journey so far was magical.

And then all this vanished in thin air...without a trace....and then the downfall started.

MN original story was kept on the hooks... characters started deviating from the original characters.... M's character became a luv struck puppy and Nupur's character became a mean, selfish girlfriend. Creatives started using MN as sidekicks...as jokers...as background characters. MN fans cried, screamed....we stood upto the misery and pain of watching these random MN scenes in the hopes of something better...something meaningful will come our way. And we got our hopes high at the beginning of Morena track... then we got some intense drama, more set of misunderstandings, intense fights, out of the world reunion and one romantic night....twists after twists....and finally we got the biggest surprise from the creatives...M was sent to B'lore....the lead of the show was officially declared as a guest appearance....N was declared as lead of the new circus....and MN scenes?....they were reduced to random alternate day 2 minute cute scenes....and MN storyline?....what storyline?....they never had one...it was just our illusion that we thought they had a solid storyline.

The reality check....Sach ka Samna....MN were always second leads....MN story is always used to support other leads story....MN never has and never will have any emotional bonding...understanding... they will always get random romantic kuchi kuchi scenes to raise the TRPs once in each month... no matter how much we complain, creatives will always ignore us.

It's so sad to see such talented actors as AB and RP getting wasted in random scenes, as background characters. As a diahard MN and ArTi fan, it's a shame to watch these two reduced to mere sidekicks. The misery and pain of going through each day without getting proper MN scenes is beyond words can describe. Our hearts cry for the loss of our favorite characters. We cringe and crib for the screentime that they deserve. We get emotional over a 2 minute hug and patch-up scene. All in hopes that one day the world will change...creatives will listen to us...and one day MN will have proper storyline....the characters will be treated as leads again....the story will have understanding, emotional bonding, sensible conversations... MN will get back their desired screen time and importance in the show.

Is this too much to ask for?.... Will this be just our unfulfilled dream?

a feeling a mn fan is always up & down .........it always depends on cv's mood 2 show them or not 2 show them

one episode they show like they r leads but they show them they r BG's of mjht ...........(i would say for weeks not for an episode)

the love for mayur

i simply love them when they get good scenes ..........love them when arti make an average scene worth 2 watch many time & make an remarkable rememberable scene

love mayu when he has his sarcastic behaviour with love for nupur ..............that had different style of concern for her

love nupur with all bubbly-chirpness ..............the positivity towards life the confidence 2 face everything

she was the one who challenged mayu in xams ................(that confidence is shredding away the way nupz is shown i don't think she would be so not daring 2 face adha-raj .....)

hate cv's

when they use mayur as BG'S .................they r not good even with those expressions.....perfection with everything with facial 2 there hand movements

when they r used just 2 gain trps for the show ........they only show them when trps r souring down .......with all gushyness (don't want so romantic scenes just 2 usage for mayur 2 gain trps for them)

hate them when every track starts with sumthing good & with sum hopes but when cums up it all with ....1-2 mins randam scenes(the track is the namesack for mayur but its never for mayur)

hate them when every track is ended randamly when for the heck it has 2 be ended so others get stories can be followed easily............

the screen space it is only bcoz there tracks r ended so randamly without showing any depth

we had 2 imagine ourself that this could have happened 😕

(giving example is last barn scene when cv's ended that scene with openly without any given thought what will viewer imagine ..............we IF got 1 info they didn't kissed but what about who r not on IF normal janta what they will think of ...............that scene needed much completelion but it did not)

we don't want mayu as an super hero we want mayu as simple human being who does mistakes despite for being so perfect ....he is a perfectionsit no doubt but he is not super-hero ....he is another human being who does mistakes .............

he did mistakes when his mother cums & tell him where were u wrong .................that was mother's nature(the initial episodes .where tp track ,xam track , than trip of ahmedabad )

mayu was even not much of super hero..............that he is going 2 make everything all right

treat him as a normal human being who does mistakes ...............

the way these days mayu is shown he was that much sugar -coated mayu ..........he was sarcastic in his own sense handles everything with sarcatically doesn't handle like these days he is shown ....sum superhero ....who is really really mahaan aatma😕

as nupur she was a confident girl .......the girl who does mistakes & no's how 2 cover with her confidence & how handle that problems which she created herself 2 solve them ................she never shown that much of under-confidence the way she is hown these days

this is not nupur.

we love MN ......we spend 30 mins on mjht ........& spend many hrs 2 discuss them bcoz we LOVE THEM

our love mayur ........the love of fans of mayur r taken as forbidden...........

this hurt us ...........MN r leads they have 2 be considered as leads ....treated as lead tracks 2 be shown as leads

what i wanted 2 see

i wanted 2 c mayu thinking about his career

nupur thinking of her career .....yes her career not just her thought about shaadi no doubt indian simple culture every girl priority is marriage

but it can be shown that the way mayu is ...........seeing him ........she should also think if they have 2 be together than she also has 2 contribute towards togetherness

wanted 2 c mayu thinking about his father ....his thoughts he wanted 2 share with nupur (how he feels when her mother works alone ........what he wanted 2 give 2 his mother)

they need 2 talk about it

nupur should talk about her mother ....how much she miss her how she feels on it.............nupur should show other of nupur which she is the maturity of nupur (she is also show him childishness very less of matuity is shown)

mayur should talk about there past when they used 2 fight how they feel when they used 2 fight .............

want 2 see there emotional bonding scenes

understanding each-other is one thing telling each-other show repect love for each-other

we understood that they understand each-other but show them tehy r telling what they feel thsy creates different bond al together the scenes the story cums out differently

ok now i'm done there so much more 2 say its a unstoppable thing what we want 2 c atleast show sumthing which is much meaning ful

a fan of mayur who's love is always increased for them despite of the fact there screen-space is decreased 2 minimal

I don't know where to start from and where to end, I will try and keep it short though i have a tendency to digress and get carried away in cases of MN.

From the day i saw their promos and their intial scenes, i was amazed at how they were so simple, realistic as their scenes depicted something which happens in daily life and it must have happened with many of us but still it all came out so strong and unique. Ragging, random meeting and fighting but what attracted me was the fact that these two magical actors could act so well and instantly make you feel what the character on screen is feeling.

MN have been one of the finest creations i have ever seen on television, they both had contrasting personalities yet both of them are reflective of the realistic personalities in our lives, at least mine hehe.

i love MN so much is as mentioned because of their beautiful, relatable personalities with their own charm and power packed acting, the kind of acting which touches and leaves an impact for a long longg time, not just for that moment.

I hate MN when they are not there, i hate it when they are used for idiotic comedy, nonsensical tracks if at all, senseless fighting, merely there to solve others problems and give a shoulder to others and commit mistakes and repeating them again and again.

I hate the fact that they have ruined N so much, she was someone who could never hurt anyone at all, not intentionally and forgave everyone so easily.

Nupur knew each moment of life is so precious and she wanted to enjoy each and every moment of life and have fun so why on earth would she be interested in fighting and since when she had such an ego problem, only to defend herself she let that side out but once that defence bit was over, she should be her ownself, genuinely enjoying life and making others understand its importance, teach them how to live life to the fullest as her nature was early on.

I hate MN, when they make them mere jokers, side actors with nothing to do and when they are not shown, like MN get no proper story, no intense scenes, no talking and normal conversations, almost no screenspace.

I still watch MN scenes because of Rati and Arjun. Wishing them all the best.

I have been seeing old epi's of MJHT and I was FFing to the MaYur parts and rewinding and re-laughing, much to the irritation of my younger sister!

But what can I do?? Great couple, great show...wish they would have their own track...just let this SuhRat track get over then we should a loooooong MaYur track...whoopiezz

MN fans who bash MN..🤔 i dont think they bash..it is my opinion..they are just straighfwd ppl, atleast my friends who fit into the category are... and i knw fingers are pointed at some of them always

they dont even post anymore in the forum...

but they have to be brought in ...

Caro, It was not directed at the people u mentioned.

I meant a different set including me. I have done enough MN bashing to be termed a basher.

And yeah, its not exactly bashing it more like an honest opinion but its considered bashing on this forum , so be it, I dont mind being called one.

No drag in intended.
