Being a MN fan.......hmmmm what do i say.
It's a disney world experience. You go through huge roller coasters, then u experience Mary go round during their makeup-breakup sessions, then you sit and watch a sweet romantic lovestory during their nice romantic scenes, then you enter the haunted mansion when these two are made to act silly and out of character but most of all you just wait in line for your turn which is a 28 min. wait for a 2 min ride. Tired and frustrated of waiting you just feel like going to the ride where they take you back in time and never come out.

So yeah it's a complete Disney experience. Wish I had just been a mickey and Minnie fan instead. 😆

But few things about MN doesn't let me ask for a refund at the disney ticket counter just end up throwing few futile tantrums.
First and foremost it's Arjun and Rati.....they are brilliant actors and have truly brought life to 2 most beautiful characters.....Mayank and Nupur. We all MN fans have I guess learned to survive on those 2 min. moments which these 2 actors turn it into a beautiful memory.

Other thing......we just can't let go off them.....they've become our maintenance medications....can't live without.

So in short we all have lost it and we all need to get head MRI's done......

Firstly Divz........thank you for opening the topic...... Agree with everyword Annie, Jess , Muskaan and you said.

I started watching this show because of the characters Mayank and Nupur. I used to live the practical Mayank and the bubbly Nupur. It was later that i started liking the actors who play these characters. I remember waiting to see a MN scene when the episode aired. I remember MN making me cry and laugh with their story. I remember me blushing when i was watching the after confession scenes. I remember me hating the locket track ( just my POV).

Alas, but look at it now, i still wait in anticipation for 1-2 min scene, which we get sometimes.... or somedays we have just make do with watching them in the back ground scenes.( they give perfect expressions there too )....... MN are now used a fillers....... its like director ko episode dekhne ke baad mazza nahi aaya to MN ko bulaya aur ek scene dal diya.......

As a dire hard MN fan hope and pray that the story line which currently doesnt exist is reinforced again. I hope someone is listening.

@ Muski.....................very well said.....Disney experience indeed...............we have lived each and every moment of lives of MN, so much so that we got completely toi them and despite several attempts cudnt let go................

But i wonder y cant the concern people see that they have two people who can create sensation on-screen even in the most average scene, who can make a passionate scene become the most beautiful experience for their viewers.............and such actors reduced to mere background props.........................Please wake up and smell the coffee............else the one who will lost the most will be u...........

Feelings of a MN fan...What may I say....

Being a MN fan feels like a "real experience"...Almost "life changing"..
We all get attached to a certain serial or fictional show to get away from reality, to enjoy....When we don't enjoy we search for other modes of entertainment...Mostly we quit...But with MM its quite the opposite...Its like we are fighting for their storyline , their screen space just like the way we fight for real issues, for things that matter in our lives....I wonder why...

After a lot of thinking I realised that its mainly due to two reasons....
1)The character of Mayank and Nupur which was created as a whim and turned into a masterpiece...
2)The actors who potrayed them were way above mediocracy..or I might say excellent...

The utter lack of interest in cultivating these two characters or their storyline...The sparing screen space they get...The way they are used or worse the way they are not used adds the cherry to the cake to our woeful state of fanhood....Already our sanity is questioned and on top of that our self mockery doesnt entertain us any more.. .Its not funny when we say that we are disheartened with the stuffs in MJHT...we say because Its really NOT funny....

After repeated attempts at trying to revamp the characters we have not been heard...i wonder what the creatives actually think or want? We seem to care as much if not more for these two characters than the Creators or the Makers themselves....If we were heard we could have reached a level of excellence unseen in present Indian-TV scenario...

I can write pages and pages of analysis over this...But i won't...Life is short and we have limited period of time and emotions for everything...Hope the precious time we spent(I still dont use the word "wasted" ) gives us back some satisfaction....Because its for the sake of satisfaction for a clear aesthatic mind that we got attached to MN in the first place...not because we wish to see passionate scene or cute romance or dance segmnts on a random basis....If we really had to we would have stuck with movies and books which specialise in these fields...

sincerely speaking u are absolutely right.u have expressed the feelings of all mayur fans.mayur has an extraordinary capability which is going utter waste bcoz of mjht.if these quit the show mjht will fall.so cv's should give them the best storyline along with sajan.

Hey Guys... Its me again, Divya S.... I totally agree with each and every word of what you all said... just like MN... our feelings for them are so true, deep and can always be related to them in our day to day chores.. and the way we have expressed ourselves is just perfect... My heart just cries to see MN being treated like this. They have been literally reduced to nothing.. This leaves me wondering, why are these two still sticking to this show?????... But one thing is for sure, the moment they quit the show, I will personally stop watching this show.. and I bet all the MN fans will do the same. This is for sure.

FYI, with Divz permission, I have posted this link on AB's blog, with a very slight hope that the CV's and all the concerned people read this.

I think, all of us, in our hearts and minds, are having a beautiful and meaningful storyline for our dear Mayur. I just request the CV's please give us one chance, and we won't let you down with our storylines.. We don't need any credit.. all we want is to see our talented actors with good storyline.and that too for the betterment of MJHT. Is it too much that we are asking for??? We'll include other charaters too.. see it from the viewers point of view, CV's.. you cannot afford to waste such an adundance storage of talent... there's immense talent which you guys haven't exposed... please see to it that this is done, otherwise as I had said earlier, Rati and Arjun have nothing to lose.... they have the whole world to embrace them and welcome them in whatever projects they take. And then, if they are gone, there's no use crying over the split milk..

Wake up CV's and production house, its high time now.Before things get out of hand.Sort out whatever differences you have (if any) with them, personally or professionally... plzzzzzzzzzz..... this is a sincere request and pleading from Mayur/ArTi fans from each and every part of the nation and the world.

Is this too much that we viewers are asking for?

Thanks for making the post divya.. You ve capture our feelings accqurately..
and wonderful replies annie, nidhi, jess, senny, rinky, deepti, yamini, and other whom i ve not mat...

you guys ve pretty much covered everything. Insipte of such shitty treatment, if we still discuss and look up for even 5 sec mn scenes, it speaks volumes about these two characters.

I seriously hope they finish this show soon, so that we dont cling on to these 2 min per week MN moments..

Mayank & nupur r the two most beautifully created characters of indian television.They r the reason why I started watching the show mjht. I must thank u creatives for this.
Now when u create two beautiful characters, u must have a beautiful storyline to justify them, right? just go back & think abt their story line for a moment....Mayank & nupur , two completely opposite ppl ,they meet at the college for the first time after that the story goes on some what like this-in spite of having different opinion in almost every single thing, this two fall in love with each other.......mayank realize it during the ahmedabad trip & nupur....she realize it in "one terrace scene".then we got the most beautiful confession & post confession scene of television..................Now, what happened after that???? can u remember their story line after that? no!...........coz there is no story line.........These two character were suppose to be A"lead" couple in the show.........without a story line....hah!thats funny.......
Now lets talk abt the actors..Arjun Bijlani & Rati Pandey.......two most talented ppl who entered in our heart through their acting, they portrayed mayank & nupur so beautifully. that this two become a part of our life.But how r u using this two actors right now.....okk.u send the guy bangalore in the show.showing him talking on phone for 4 weeks, for 2mints.......then make him come back with a song sequence.& again for playing "supporting role" to other characters.....what a waste!!!!!
On the other hand.u make nupur's character completely opposite of what she used to be.the straight forward nupur.is not there, she is being shown telling lie & then these days..she is there in the song sequences only...Using an actress like rati pandey as a background artist.in the show......is really really not done.
We r mayank & nupur fans.we love them, we r not asking for showing them in each single scene, show them less.but give them a proper story line...we don't want to c them only in huggs, kissess, & song numbers.......we r tired now.watching them for only 2-3 mints in an epi,c them using as filler or comic relief ..please just remember how u have done it before.......during the ahmedabad trip ....they always make us fall in love with them even without a story......give them some track..they r gonna create magic..just a proper track & the difference u gonna c in trps will give u the answers.
