What Bebo said What's your character like in Kurbaan? My character is very strong and there is a constant suspense about her. I am sure I will get critical acclaim for this role. In fact, I would have done Kurbaan even if Saif was not in the film.
Would you criticise each other's acting when you're on the sets together?I would never ever do something like that.
Saif said in an interview recently, "Shooting with Kareena is like shooting with my mum". Comment.Maybe he said that because of the warmth we share and also he feels that, like his mum, who used to balance the mainstream with the parallel beautifully, I am doing the same.
What is it like to be constantly together on the sets?It's nice to be together, but since we both are very serious about work, we are immersed in our shooting.
How do you handle the constant speculation about your relationship?I think our relationship has become an open forum of discussion and people talk more about us than we do ourselves. Every day there is something about us in the media, so now both Saif and I avoid watching TV or reading newspapers.

Your first impression: I thought he was very charming and well-behaved.

What you like doing together:Watching movies! We sometimes go for a movie to the theatre. Otherwise it's Hollywood films on DVD.

What's your character like in Kurbaan?He is a traumatised guy and is essentially the anti-hero. He is the kind who will murder people for a cause rather than cheat on his wife.
Do you criticise each other's acting when you are on the sets together?We are very respectful to each other as professionals. I will never tell Kareena anything. I will never do that with any of my co-stars. I feel the director is there to decide how we are performing… who are we to talk? I feel it is absolutely dangerous to cross that line.

First, both Kareena and my mum know me really well and there is a comfort level there. Second, like my mum could carry off so many different roles, Kareena can do just the same.
