Truth About Reincarnation
Hi friends....ok I just wanted to share my knowledge about the truth about reincarnation....
This information has nothing to do with what they are showing in the show, as I dont have any guarantee whether this show is true or not, but the concept of past life is true. So I just request that please no bashing in this topic, only those who truely believe in the concept of re-incarnation, punar janam, please share your views as I dont want unnecessary fights and arguments regarding this topic 😊. In case someone doesnt believe, please dont bash or create unnecessary arguments, you can politely express your opinions and views and say why you dont believe if you dont 😊.
There was a time when i was confused and exactly dint know whether things like reincarnation was true or not as they dont have scientific evidence...but lately I have been meeting lot of spiritual ppl, reading articles and books, miracles and experiences of close ppl which made me believe this truth....

Have you ever wondered why each of us have what we have and why many of us don't have things which others have? Many of us have been blessed with lot of things like money, loving family, luxurious living, friends, good looks, good health, best of education or career, etc., whereas many of us just have few of these things while we are craving to get the others as well. Why is that? Who decides which humans should be given the good things, and which of us should be given the bad ones? Is it just a random pick and are we the lucky/unlucky ones to fall under the particular categories of good/bad possessions? And if it's a random pick, how fair is it?

I am sure many of you must have wondered that there are some people who have always done only good deeds in life but they are the ones who are suffering the most, whereas other people who are selfish, greedy for money, who hurt other people, who cheat other people are enjoying their life maximum till they die. Havent you wondered 'this is not fair! Person 'A' doesn't deserve such bad things' or 'person 'B' doesn't deserve such a good husband/wife, or so much of luck', etc. Now what is the logic behind this? How fair is this?

And if someone believes they will be punished or rewarded after death, what use is it after we have died? Where can we feel the pain and pleasures that are there on earth? There is no life after death, we are given this body to experience pleasure, pain, everything. If the body is not there, how can you feel that pain or pleasure? There is no place that can give you so much of pleasure or pain than life on earth.

Now I will explain how the system works. Reincarnation is a fact. This is not the 1st time we are born, and neither is this going to be the last. There are 2 reasons why a human being takes rebirth :

1) To finish off our Karmas (good or bad)

2) To fulfill our desires

We will keep taking birth after birth until we have finished off all our Karmas and fulfilled all our desires.

To explain the above points in detail :

1) Whether you do a good deed or a bad deed, don't think if the person for whom you do it doesn't recognize it, your deed goes unrecognized. NO. Every deed you do is recorded somewhere, even if it is the smallest of good deed or smallest of bad deed. So after each birth, the record of your good deeds and bad deeds are taken into account. Depending upon how your deeds were, the horoscope of your next birth is written. That means, depending upon what you have done in this birth, what you deserve to get in your next birth is determined. And when you take rebirth, only soul remains the same. The body, mind, personality, character, everything of the person becomes different. Thats why you see so many good people suffering like anything, as maybe they are good human beings in this birth, but they are just paying off what they did in their previous birth.

2) To explain the 2nd point, i.e., you come back to earth or you take a rebirth to fulfil your desires might be something that might be a bit familiar to many of you. What this means is, while dying whatever desires you have left unfulfilled, you take rebirth to fulfil them. I will give you an example, it's a filmy one but still its fine to explain this concept. We all must have seen movies in which 2 lovers love each other and they die without being able to live with each other. In such case, the desire for which the soul is coming back is to be with that person with whom it was not able to be in the previous birth. In movies they show this with too much of exaggeration, but nevertheless the concept behind it is a fact. And that desire need not be a human being. It can be anything. Like maybe throughout your life you would have craved to be famous, but you have never been able to fulfil that desire in that birth. So you take a birth to fulfil that. These are just examples.

So all of you just understand one thing'whatever you have been given in this birth (good or bad), you deserve it. So don't ever think, what good have I done to get parents like this, or what good I have done to be so successful, as definitely you have done something good to get what you got, or else you wouldn't have got it 😊. Similarly, when something bad happens to you in life, understand that there is definitely a reason behind it and nothing is unfair in this world.

Ok I guess I have spoken a lot. Many of you might believe in what I have said, many of you must not have. Anyways, those who believe in and understood what I have said above, please feel free to discuss more on this or ask any doubts . Or in case you want me to speak more on this, I can do that as well 😳.
Good Luck 😊!!

First I want to say thanks to you for such an enlightening knowledge. I too believe in reincarnation, from the day I started reading Bhagvat Gita. I wanted to understand my nature, my desires, my fears, my thinking, that why I like this thing and I don't like that thing, in short myself.

I also want to understand mysteries of mind, I hope one day I will also go for this therapy and get some answers. 😆

I understand one thing for sure, that whatever is happening in our life, it is for our best interest.

Regards.

Very beautiful discussion here and I totally agree-- even the smallest good/bad deed is recorded by someone somewhere and what we get is what we actually deserve based on our old karmas.....This is not all, our understanding is jus the tip of the ice-berg and there are lot of other details hidden underneath.....

As a Roman Catholic I believe in ETERNAL life ......... not rebirth. For us it is the SOUL that is important. From dust we have come; to dust we will return. After that, our Soul atones for our sins.

it was a very good explanation. I definitely believe in re-birth and the logic behind a very good person suffering and a very bad person enjoying their lives. All that happens in this life is not completely a result of your past life. Some of it...ya..definitely.

Sometimes you have to suffer a lot for a few years and then you have a wonderful life at the end. Sometimes you have a wonderful life in the beginning and you do many mistakes and at the end of your life you get to suffer a lot. So most of the time you see the good and bad times in the same life.

There is definitely re-birth and if you are suffering with some issue and you think you don't deserve it, patience and prayer and doing what you can and need to do is the only thing left.

Coming to this program...phobias and link-up with earlier life.....this is not convincing. Does this mean that if we do not have any phobias, we cannot re-collect our pichle janam??? Does that mean we have had a normal and satisfying life earlier??

I think they need to change the format of the show and explain the viewers in a special episode or something the technique the doctors follow..so that more people will be convinced.

Finally, just watch the show as a show...that's all.

A healthy approach to a new topic is essential. Otherwise there would have been no evolotion ever.
You can read books by Dr. Brian Weiss to know more about this topic.
Regarding this serial, like vinny_rams has said they should have had an introductory episode explaining the concept and facts. No wonder people just get shocked to see suddenly that their problems are related to their previous births, when most people do not even believe in rebirths.
Regression is a small part of a larger picture. What we come to know through this technique is only for healing a particular problem. There might have been multiple births, multiple events that bear an impact on our lives. So you can as well imagine the vastness and complexity of this topic. I am sure loads of such topics are still lying the dark and will slowly unravel over the centuries....

*dewdrop~pearl* Awesome post...I strongly believe in Reincarnation and Karma. I was introduced to this for the first time when I read Bhagavad Gita.
... I only hope people read what you have written carefully and with an open mind.
I wrote quite the same kind of things in another topic..which I'll CC here too...

Why is it that we instantly connect with some one..like we've known them since time immortal...and why is it that we dislike someone even if they've not harmed us in any way...without a credible reason?
Why is it that our parents are our parents? Our best friend is that one person..and not the other who we also like?...
why is it that those people born at the same time same date...even same place as Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya rai, Princess Diana,...etc....did not go on to become like them?...and why is it that some people have to suffer even though they work as hard to make ends meet?

There are some lines in Bhagavad Gita I'm adding...(If I'm not supposed to I;ll edit it...let me know!) It was written to me by my American Professor....which I'm keen to share with all...

The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, vs 18 says, "These bodies are known to have an end; the dweller in the body is eternal, imperishable, infinite." vs 20 says, "He is never born, nor does he ever die; nor once having been, does he cease to be. Unborn, eternal, everlasting, ancient, he is not slain when the body is slain." vs 22 "As a man casting off worn-out garments takes other new ones, so the dweller in the body castin off worn-out bodies take others that are new."

He also mention some thing thats funny in a way...

I find it ironic that most of the Indian students I had are totally into the material, and are not the least bit drawn to the spiritual. Yet the spirituality comes from India--Ved Bhumi Bharat. It is a further irony that I, a westerner, was sent to India, land of the Veda, to teach Vedic knowledge to Indians. That is kind of a cosmic joke.

There is also some videos I can post...if its okay...
