it was a very good explanation. I definitely believe in re-birth and the logic behind a very good person suffering and a very bad person enjoying their lives. All that happens in this life is not completely a result of your past life. Some of it...ya..definitely.
Sometimes you have to suffer a lot for a few years and then you have a wonderful life at the end. Sometimes you have a wonderful life in the beginning and you do many mistakes and at the end of your life you get to suffer a lot. So most of the time you see the good and bad times in the same life.
There is definitely re-birth and if you are suffering with some issue and you think you don't deserve it, patience and prayer and doing what you can and need to do is the only thing left.
Coming to this program...phobias and link-up with earlier life.....this is not convincing. Does this mean that if we do not have any phobias, we cannot re-collect our pichle janam??? Does that mean we have had a normal and satisfying life earlier??
I think they need to change the format of the show and explain the viewers in a special episode or something the technique the doctors follow..so that more people will be convinced.
Finally, just watch the show as a show...that's all.
Glad you liked my post đ. What you said is right, not everything that we are suffering in this life is because of our past life. There are certain things we might experience because of our deeds in this life as well, be it good or bad. As you said, a person who continuously goes on doing bad in this life, maybe at some point in time in this life itself he will get punished to an extent, and whatever is remaining will be carried forward to his next life to suffer.
Similarly, though we might be destined to suffer certain things in this life based on our past life deeds, there are 3 things that can actually change our destiny or reduce the intensity of our punishment in this life, and that is â Prayer, Sincere Efforts, & Good Deeds in this Life. Even though we might be destined to suffer certain things, Prayers can actually reduce the intensity of our suffering if not totally remove it, that's why they ask us to pray. Like we have a saying at our place, 'something to hit the eye went hitting the eyebrow', which basically means something major to happen went away in a mild manner. Similary even though we might not be destined to achieve something, sincere hardwork & efforts from our side and prayers can give us what we might not have been destined. So inshort, WE HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE OUR DESTINY THROUGH SINCERE HARDWORK, PRAYERS AND GOOD DEEDS.
Regarding phobias, I don't think there will be even one human being who doesn't have some sort of a phobia or problem. By phobias it doesn't necessary mean fear of heights, water, fire, etc. It can be any simple fear or problem inside us which might be affecting us seriously without even our knowledge, like many of us have problems in socialising with people whom we don't know, fear of lonliness when we go to unknown places like new school, college, office, etc. Past Life Regression is not only for people with phobias, even if we don't have serious phobias we can still do it for fun just to know who we were in our past lives. I think knowing our past life will definitely be useful to us in some way or the other in the long run. But ya if you have a phobia, this process can really be helpful in reducing or curing it.

A healthy approach to a new topic is essential. Otherwise there would have been no evolotion ever.
You can read books by Dr. Brian Weiss to know more about this topic.Regarding this serial, like vinny_rams has said they should have had an introductory episode explaining the concept and facts. No wonder people just get shocked to see suddenly that their problems are related to their previous births, when most people do not even believe in rebirths.Regression is a small part of a larger picture. What we come to know through this technique is only for healing a particular problem. There might have been multiple births, multiple events that bear an impact on our lives. So you can as well imagine the vastness and complexity of this topic. I am sure loads of such topics are still lying the dark and will slowly unravel over the centuries....
Absolutely agree with you! This is a very complex topic and many more aspects of it might still be remaining to unravel. Whatever we are today is not the impact of just one of our past lives, it is supposed to be the sum total of many of our past lives, so perhaps the solution to our certain complex problems might not lie in just one of our past life, we might have to dig couple of them to reach a proper conclusion.

*dewdrop~pearl* Awesome post...I strongly believe in Reincarnation and Karma. I was introduced to this for the first time when I read Bhagavad Gita.
... I only hope people read what you have written carefully and with an open mind.
I wrote quite the same kind of things in another topic..which I'll CC here too...
Why is it that we instantly connect with some one..like we've known them since time immortal...and why is it that we dislike someone even if they've not harmed us in any way...without a credible reason?
Why is it that our parents are our parents? Our best friend is that one person..and not the other who we also like?...
why is it that those people born at the same time same date...even same place as Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya rai, Princess Diana,...etc....did not go on to become like them?...and why is it that some people have to suffer even though they work as hard to make ends meet?
There are some lines in Bhagavad Gita I'm adding...(If I'm not supposed to I;ll edit it...let me know!) It was written to me by my American Professor....which I'm keen to share with all...
The Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, vs 18 says, "These bodies are known to have an end; the dweller in the body is eternal, imperishable, infinite." vs 20 says, "He is never born, nor does he ever die; nor once having been, does he cease to be. Unborn, eternal, everlasting, ancient, he is not slain when the body is slain." vs 22 "As a man casting off worn-out garments takes other new ones, so the dweller in the body castin off worn-out bodies take others that are new."
He also mention some thing thats funny in a way...
I find it ironic that most of the Indian students I had are totally into the material, and are not the least bit drawn to the spiritual. Yet the spirituality comes from India--Ved Bhumi Bharat. It is a further irony that I, a westerner, was sent to India, land of the Veda, to teach Vedic knowledge to Indians. That is kind of a cosmic joke.
There is also some videos I can post...if its okay...
I totally agree with whatever you have said here. There are reasons as to why we like someone soo much inspite of that person not even being related to us in anyway, similarly why sometimes we simply hate people the moment we meet them without having apparent reasons for it. It also helps us to understand why not all girls are as lucky as Aishwarya Rai who is perceived to have everything a woman can ever ask for âfantastic looks, rich, successful, opportunity to become Miss India & Miss World, be a successful actress who won Padmashree & National Award, work in International movies and then finally become the 'Bachchan Bahu'âŚphewww that's a long list!! Same goes for men like Amitabh Bachchan & Shah Rukh Khan.
Even I have heard this phrase from Bhagavat Gita which basically means that Soul can never be destroyed, only body can be. Soul keeps changing bodies (like how we change clothes) to go through various experiences, and the day it attains enlightenment and ultimate spirituality, this journey of birth and death ends and the soul becomes one with God. It's a really beautiful and meaningful phrase which briefly explains LIFE.
And I also agree with what your professor said, we Indians are so crazy about Western culture that we don't have any respect for our own culture and traditions. Like they say 'ghar ki murgi daal barabar'! We need rest of the world to tell us how rich our culture is. Infact I have seen Indians going to Western Yoga teachers instead of Indian ones! Its really sad!
And ya, please post the link to those videos, I am sure many of us would be interested to view them đ.
