Hi everyone, I am new to india forums so plz excuse me if I am starting a topic which has been discussed before!

I am a big fan of Perfect Bride and have been following it since day one (Online- since UK is behind India in the telecast).

Rumpa is one contestant who has me completely baffled. 😕 At the beginning of the show she seemed to be a simple and straight forward girl and I used to find her and Nanditha the most natural among the brides. But she has changed so much since then that I am unable to understand how she is as a person anymore.

What I do feel honestly is that she is insecure about herself and highly influenced by others. The insecurity showed very clearly when she tackled Gaurav and asked him to make a decision between her and Naditha. But she was not sure of herself once he left.

Now she seems to be heavily influenced by her close pal Gur and her would be husband Hittu. The bluntness shown by Gur herself seem to be part of her own strong personality.. but Rumpa seems to get more of these outbursts as she spends time with Gur and with Hittu who is also quick on losing his temper 😲

Strangely she declared in her profile that she is looking for "Someone who is not self centered, who is understanding, sensitive to emotions of others.." none of which can be attributed to Mr Chauhan!! 😉

Will the real Rumpa Roy please stand up??

Unfortunately to me real Rumpa appears to be spineless so I think she would never be able to stand up.

I just have one concern. She said I love you to Gaurav the last day and as a contestant she would not be knowing his reactions after he left and instead of waiting for him, she latched on to Hitesh, at least Hitesh moved on after being rejected by Pooja not just because Pooja was eliminated.

Have to agree with you Kaushik... and lol the spineless comment was appropriate! But I always wonder if the contestants are allowed to interact with people outside or not. Since sometimes we hear them saying that they have spoken to their family members.

hmm wonder if its possible that Gaurav did communicate to Rumpa and ask her to move on..?

If not, then she does seem to be focused on staying till the end of the show.. no matter what. And its strange that she says on camera that she does not want to become a perfect bride and only wants to get married.. since they are all contestants of Perfect bride with the intent of winning.. and getting married canbe done outside the show too.. 😕

welcome dear and i completely agree to you in starting she was like a goody goody girl her bitternes much came out thias week when pri announced MOTW and she jusr jumped on her in frustration and insecurity pooja eliminated raj and gur also didn't saved him but did pri ever complained?No b'coz she knows k if marriage is on the carcs then it will happen no matter here or ou side but rumap is a DESP 1st she said I LOVE o to gauruc and even now often she tales his name and she has still gaurv in her that's y she alsways bashes priynak 4 eliminating him then y is so despp 4 getting married wid hitesh?and she is so insecure too b'coz yesterday she herself confessed k jab tak hota nahi it showed that she don have trust factor at all and they claims to be in deep and true love

I feel she was very possessive abotu gaurav.. and may be feels insecure abotu herself may be infereior as well... so she belives gaurav will surely find someone better outside... she moved on and hitesh came... and gur gave her support and when she has the strongest MIL she got too carried away..

now she is wanting to flaunt her mean side.. dotn know why? she wants to show she is strong whcih actually is not depecting the way she shows to much attitude while waling on to the stage as well... i mean i was laughin when in the house priyanka walks in a certain way.. but when rumpa walked ot take her BOW kit i was like.. gosh why she has so much attitude as if she is ofcourse the best.. somethign abt her expressions irked..even though i find her good she lost herself i felt..

and somehow if she wins.. i will hate the whole show.. as A indian Perfect bribe gogin for someone like hitesh whom on national Tv has projected violence and felt proud of it.. his attitude of disrespectign other mothers .. I cant digest that at all..

I remember how he said beta bhi aisa aur maa bhi..for gaurav...n once for yash as well.... he had been bitchign abt priyanka too.. other guys dont do such stuffs .. they lok more mature than him... how can he be with perfect bribe and we wanting to watch his wedding on national tv no way..

Yeah, it wont feel right if Rumpa wins Perfect Bride when she has not actually shown any such particular qualities of an ideal bahu so far.

Actually I was never a big fan of Priyanka but have to admit now that atleast she has been consistent in her behaviour and even though her future with Rajbir is uncertain, she has maintained her dignity throughout the show. Whether its fake or not, time will tell.

But in Rumpa's case, she really seems to have lost herself somewhere in the process of trying to win. 🤔

I really wish Nanditha or even Amrita or Priyanka V had a chance to come back. They seemed more grounded and someone you could identify with.

Its funny that Rumpa said "Use Perfect Bride bana do, meree shaadi yahan kara do, mujhe perfect bride apne ghar mein banna hai na ki duniya ke liye" that statement screeches of hypocricy!!

Lady if all you wanted was to become a PB at home, why the hell are you on this show? didnt her parents have enough money to get her married on their own accord that they sent you on this show to get married by channel walahs?? Every elimination time she gets insecure. Has no confidence on herself or her relationship.It will be very difficult for Hitesh to maintain platonic friendships with women, after his marriage. Shewill make his life miserable with her insecurity!! Anyway, Hitty deserves it😉

well m not a big fan of rumpa...coz she said i luv u to gaurav and now usko bhool gayi!....

but i jus wanted to clarify wat she said here!! she said that her main aim is not to win d show! her main aim is to get married and she doesnt care that priyanka becomes BOW!......unlike priyanka who always says she wants to BOW as per the other gals!

priyanka might be really sensitive or not!... rumpa said that she cant cry at the drop of a hat like priyanka n people sympathize wid pri for that reason!

rumpa jus wants to be her self in d show and cant do nything for d TRP's.. i dont think dts being a hypocrite!

yah u are right comment was showing her SAFED JHOOT😆😆😆i think inida mein out of PB marriages pe ban lag gaya hai lolzzzz😆😆😆is it true guyz?😕then y she is so desp o of getting married heer?and i can't 4get that agar yahan shaadi nahu hui na tou bahar jake bari aisi taisi ho jani hai b'coz she knows na k here she can bind hitesh and his mom but out of shwos hitesh will dump her lolzzzzzz😆😆aur uske kaarnamay sabne national tv pe dekhe he hain so its difficult 4 her to dfind some 1 out😆😆😆

I am not talking about the Gaurav episode here! I beleive everyone wants to get married at some point in the lives (mostly). The reason everyone is on the show is to have a perfect wedding and even if someone says they are not here to win, its a complete lie!! It holds true for anyone on the show. The show's rule is that in order to get married on the show you need to be a perfect bride. Rumpa cannot have a marriage on the show unless she becomes the PB. The way she says it is to deceive the junta. And I wont believe what the other girls say, especially since the Pooja episode happened (with Gurpreet and Rumpa).

She got highly insecure after Rajbir returned on the show.

Then she starte saying 'Bahar jaake aise taisee ho jaayegee shaadi nahi huee to". Wheras, Priyanka was the one who said 'Yahan nahi huee shaadi to bahar jaake kar lenge".

Then earlier she told Gaurav that if he wasnt on the show, she wont be there either.

Then the 'use bana do PB statement that I mentioned earlier"

To me, this is hypocricy and its perfectly alright if you think otherwise😊
