I think the man of the match should be given by shaimak..and it seems Rani is giving everything..he has no say...what do you guys think?what a waste of him on the show...

Today was the first time ever i watched the show and i agree! I was like soo confused i was thinking why is shamak their? Like scores are given by those coaches on the side and rani gives those chakka and choka points! what is shamak their for? I guess he gives ideas on what the contestants should perform on and since he knows more about dance than anyone on that stage!!!

He gives the theme but he cannot score...what were the creatives thinking? Shiamak's expertise are a waste here...maybe the only positive thing might be the pay package fo rhim...

he should have some power... and u mention very well.. i think man of the match should be given by him...coz rani has the power for points ..... sad he has no power... and in last two eppi we have not seen if he agrees to scores or not... to jo thoda power tha woh bhi gaya kyaa??????😕

I hope the creatives give him something substantial to do..as he is becoming more a puppet...and nothing else...surely he gives the theme..but we dont know that until somebody mentions it...I think Rani is like taking over the show..which I dont think is right..it is dance show...and Shaimak is the man for it..Rani could definitely add the glamour part...

Agree with you...shaimak is so talented and on jhalak dilkha ja his expertise and the comment he gave were so helpful and even a non dancer gets something out of his comments. i think the overall score format of the show is so confusing it should be kept simple like only 3 people should be allowed to give scores and there should be elimination from every team.

I think the scoring should be the other teams giving socres..and rani giving her score and than Shaimak giving the man of the match and the extra points that Rani gives away...that was Shaimak has the power of giving the right runs to the right team..as Rani is soo many times partial to team that coooes her or dances classical... I think it should be Shaimak doing the scorign together with the other team mentors... what do you all think?

I think Shaimak is the force (karta-dharta) behind the DPL - he is the one making all the rules, format changes, dissolving all the disagreement. They call him refree but he is much more than that.

That's why he is not giving marks then people will think of him biased but he does tell how the performance was and where to improve.

wish Shaimak ws given more power.. infact i noticed one of episodes.. wher Shaimak ws nt giving much comments.. it ws all just Rani Or the other coaches!!....
