I fail to understand why the kitchen politics type shows and OTT characters get top priority in nominations and even in the winners List. Quite mind boggling.
Without disrespecting other fans or the actresses that have been nominated, but a couple of names that I read left my mouth open. They are no where in the league of Ragini Khanna. And I'm not being biased, this is how I genuinely feel. Her portrayal of every single human emotion is praise worthy. And she's brought Bharti to life.
This is why I agree that Ragini doesn't just deserve a best actress in a comic role. Because Bharti is not a comical character. She can have her moments (many of them!) But she's been through and has felt what the average woman would do and feel. She is a reflection of today's woman.
Side note: Thanx everyone for contributing to the topic. I appreciate it :D

you're right...some of those names made me think that ragini is better and should have been nominated >(

Well, whatever...i dont watch the rona dhona shows and i like BB so im just gonna keep on watching it

Quite mind boggling.Indeed...even if anyone makes an ATTEMPT to break away from the kitchen politics type shows, they are hardly given much of a chance and are pulled off air sooner or later.....that BB has managed to develop it's niche audience and sort of created it's own unique genre is commedable in times such as these where only kitchen politics shows rule the TRPs and hence the nominations lists.
