No BB actor in awards nomination?? - Page 4

me too sad as Ragini has not been nominated ... This is simply not fair ... But you know something , these award functions--they never give an equal platform to appreciate the shows of different genres or something that is 'hatke'... that is why these rona-dhona and saas-bahu soaps goes on for ages and the shows of different genres are short-lived.... and these award functions contributes a lot to this injustice by simply not nominating ...

Ragini shld have been definitely nominated for best actress in comic role.

i luv BB.I THINK IT IS THE BEST SHOW ON INDIAN TELEVISION.ALL THE ACTORS SPECIALLY MY FAV RAGINNI SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE NOMINATION LIST.THESE AWARDS ARE ALWAYS BIASED AND GIVE AWARDS ALWAYS TO THE SAME OLD CLUTTER SAAS BAHU SAGAS,THEY ARE SUCH A PAIN TO WATCH

i'm soo pissed that ragini didn't get nominated. i think she is most deserving to get the best actress award. she plays a man, woman, sister, brother, bahu, motherly figure to jiya, lover, co-worker...etc. but always people from the saas-bahu dramas win 🤢. i think the award people just favors some people. i agree with nonnyshubby, i think they already have winners in their mind.
no offence to anyone, but why is bidaai nominated for continuing tv programme with boogie woogie and CID? CID has been running for almost 13 years and boogie woogie would be running for about the same. but bidaai has been running for 2 years, why is it in that category?

But why just in a comic role?? Agreed that this show has chosen to keep a more comedic focus overall but Ragini has portrayed a multitude of emotions as Bharti....not just comedy....she is so amazingly brilliant in the emotional scenes, that you actually empathize with all of Bharti's struggles....when she cries, you feel for her character....that is the mark of a great actress. So IMO she deserves a nomination for best actress, period. But sadly Indian TV can't evolve beyond the bahus crying in every show for inane reasons....hence the list of nominations we see.

@bold: Exactly.

And not to nitpick on or make comparisons with other shows....but a certain show where the female protagonist cries day and night cuz her husband acts like a 5 year old and her in-laws are very rigid and conservative....THIS is what the Indian audience laps up eagerly apparently. Who would ever want to watch a strong woman who doesn't sit under a 10 foot long ghoongat all day and lament her 'kismat' and cry over how everyone misunderstands her despite her being the epitome of greatest virtue *rolls eyes* No way.....

There is no appreciation for real talent in Indian TV awards shows anymore.

^^ LOL Anu, you've spoken 100% truth. It's very true that Indian Telly awards have no appreciation for REAL talent. That has now become evident, year after year.
