I have heard this song being sung by so many participants in Saregama and it is not really that difficult if you are trained. I cast my vote for Swananda simply to highlight her. Of the lot, most could have sung this song well except Himani, doesnt suit her style of singing.
How do you say it, MHO?

GustakhiMaaf Tansenji,

I did not mean to offend anyone here. What I meant was if you have training, you can sing this easily compared to other classical numbers. I will not dare to attempt the song. Maybe one part and PM you on it. Cant subject myself to public humiliation.

This is a very good topic. I think that a initial qulaification of being abel to
compete in this competition should be to be able to sing that song. That
would immediately get rid of hte

I remember an episode with Ronkini and a girl named Nupur I think during
some series (Golden Voice Hunt?). Sanjeev Darshan were the judges and
requested them both to sing this in the judges choice round. Both girls did
a good job though Ronkini did better.

I also want to mention some very talented girl in the children's series who
also did a great job with this song. Yes -- I really think that ability to sing
this song shoudl be a qualification to even get to participate in SRGM.

Well, as far as I remember, a really little girl 4-7 yrs sung the song, her name was Aishwarya and Usha Mangeshkar was the judge. She did a fabulous job!

My vote goes to Nihira.

NIHIRA would have been the best in singing this song .But I dont think RAKTIMA would have been too far behind.
