but personally, i do not agree on various account. What shocked me further was the comment was coming from a country which opposes patriachal societries and is considered one of the most advanced societies to believe thgat women and men are equal and this seems to be a step backwards totally disallowing women to do something they choose by free will.
Yes, women are physically weaker than men, no doubt abt that but that doesn mean u totally disallow them. is brute strength all that is required during a war? aren bravery, adaptabiliy, decision making skills, quick thinking, technical expertise and intelligence of any value? with modern technologies, its easy to create light weight equipment for women and performance targets can be calliberated and made easier for women.
Yes, there are many factors to be considered, but i still feel that by dissallowing women to join these u are in fact furthering the existing line of discrimination, trying to say that women are inferior to men.
BTW i am not a total feminist! 😆😆 its just what i feel!
