SS: First Meeting.

Shaskank was driving his car after the engagement, thinking how he will never love Sumo the way she loves him but will he ever love a girl, he chuckles, thinking if he did fall in love the should have been Araina his best friend, the one that has been with him since childhood. He stops at a dhabba and is sitting there lost in his thoughts.

Prateeksha, on the other was at Durga Ma's mandir. Ma, aaj meri shaaghi thi. Mujhe pat hai ke aap ka arshiward meri saath hai par meri kwashish ko puri kare do, muhje mera parivaar lo ta do, meri shaadi ke phele. She leaves the mandir and is walking on the streets.

Prateeksha reaches the Dhabba , were Shaskank is. Shaskank hears the chan chan of her payal, starts to look around but it has stopped. As Prateeksha sits down and has her tea, she is staring at the stars, thinking of her fate. Shaskank is also sitting there thinking, Prateeksha gets up to leave and as Shaskank hears the chan chan again he gets up in a jolt, as Prateeksha walks past. She trips and he grabs holds on to her, stopping her from falling, as Prateeksha closes her eyes. She slowly opens them when she realises she hasn't fallen but is balancing in mid air she is looks into Shaskank's eyes and is lost in them.

They stare into each others eyes, Shaskank is captured by the pain in her eyes and Prateeksha is captured by the confusion. They both snap out of it and Shaskank helps her up.

S: Sorry I didn't mean to startle you.

P: Its ok, I wasn't looking to where I was going.

P starts to walk, when S realises the chan chan of the payal was her's and remembers it from the other night.

S: Excuse me.

P turns around

S: Do you want a lift anywhere?

P is getting worried.

S understands: Oh I am not that sort of guy, I am engaged.

P: No its ok, I live nearby.

S: Oh ok, but I do have a question for you were you at a chai stall the other night.

P is confused but says: Yes.

S just nods and goes on to his car.

P also doesn't look into it and goes on home too.
