^I get the feeling that this news is false. Before the story of Kaminey came out there were articles about it being an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.

The psychiatrist's part is very small so I don't think Priyanka would be doing this film and the only confirmation I have seen from Vishal has been about PC doing his next.

It is probably for the film with PC that Hrithik has been approached - which is supposed to start sometime during 2010.

The Departed is one of my all time favourite movies! I hope they don't screw up the remake.

The departed was a good movie but a tad bit too long and dry in certain areas. I wonder how many songs will be inserted into it to make it seem interesting. 🤔

They will turn the psychiatrist a model who works as a psychologist part time. She falls in love with Hrithik but the other lead falls in love with her too so the triangle - lot of opportunity for songs - shaadi songs, romantic songs, heart breaking songs etc.

I am skipping this movie....

Isn't that what Scorcese kind of did in his version. In Infernal Affairs there were two different women. Scorcese combined the two characters and created a romantic triangle of sorts, though it wasn't the predominant focus of the film.

And I would give Vishal Bharadwaj a teeny bit more credit than manipulating the situation to add all those songs. He kept Pehli Baar Mohabbat out of Kaminey.
