I agree with quite a few points made here. I sound like a crazy fanhere who is defending their favourite starbut Ijust wanted to add that PC has said it in interviews herself that she had no clue about fashion when she started out and she still doesn't.A girl who was focusing on becoming an engineer and dressed like a tomboy and had a low self esteem,for her landing in a Miss India contest by chance was a huge shock. How to put make up on, walk in stilletos, she learnt it from the other contestants. When her debut film released, she dressed horrendously. Tacky make up along with bright colored saris. She looked like one of those sati savitri bahus from Ekta Kapoor's serials. Even after winning 2 beauty pagents, she still learnt nothing. She was concious about what people said about her looks so she dressed like that.

Having said that, she chose this profession herself. She chose to be in the spotlight so therefore people had the right to say how she looked. She said in an interview, that the criticism she recieved for her outfits in Krish and for her acting, she became extremely concerned about her appearance. Fashion and Dostana came where she was praised to the skies for her looks.She says that she feels the pressure of looking good at every media appearancebut she still has no clue about fashion (I sort of agree). It's the stylists who buy the clothes for her because she has no sense and she hates shopping for clothes. PC says she needs advise and consolodation when it comes to these things. (I would ask her to go and ask Sonam, she's the best person in these matters).Now she is kind of experimenting with her hair after people constantly told herto experiment with her looks.She really wants to try and look good but sometimes sheends up trying far too hard. With her new curly her and blue streaks, she wants feedback now. Her parents hate her blue streaks. On Twitter sheis asking people about her streaks and she's asking people wherever she goes. If she does get good feedback, I'm guessing she's keeping those otherwise not.

I do appreciate the fact that she is trying and wants to do something different but she ends up going too far.I really hope she gets rid of those blue streaks. It would be nice to see her hair in black for once. That anarkali from the Rajiv Gandhi Awards was probably one of her best appearances, in my opinion. Although I can't believe it was desinedby Manish Malhotra.

Edit - Oh dear lord. I can't believe I've wrote all of that.I've just read my essay and I do sound like a huge, star-struck fan. 😆I apologize to those who don't like fans who act all crazy over their favourites and who don't like PC. Seeing the discussion going on here, I thought I would give my two cents on this topic. Couldn't stop myself from posting. 😊
