I always found Pooja, Rumpa & Gurpreet the best in girls. I think Pooja disappointed me today because I feel that on one hand while she kept distance from Hitesh all the time, on the other hand she sent mixed signals to Hitesh. She always took him on dates, always claimed that Hitesh mujhe bahut pasand hai, and even said that she was focusing only on him. I also think 6-7 weeks was too much time she dillydallied (she could have easily decided much earlier if she felt pressure from Hitesh & mom)
Sorry, but I think she is not as mature or stable as I thought she is. I think most people do not appreciate when they get something very easily
I think the so called 'dates' on which Pooja took Hitesh out were supposedly called 'dates', but they were just a platform for the prospective bride and groom to meet and know each other... how else she could have known whether she wanted to have anything with him or not, without trying to know him.......
6-7 weeks hardly gave them 4-5 meetings.... and if 4-5 meetings create so much pressure on someone, she has the right to go ahead....... Hitesh got hurt not because of 4-5 meetings...but because of the high hopes he had associated with them...when some-one wants to marry the other, and the other one requests some time to decide, she has the prerogative to say 'No' to it..
II understand in India,in arranged marriages people are expected to say 'yes/no' to marriage after first meeting itself (let go of 4/5 meetings)....... but from my own perspective, I believe that this kind of a system is getting obsolete with the growing exposure/independence of thoughts and free communication between opposite sexes.......this kind of system is gradually getting obsolete as love might not even take off, if people haven't given sufficient time to even know each other.......but thats my personal opinion...and in this specific situation I believe Pooja took her time, and took the most sensible decision-she felt would be good for her.
