I love watching old movies. My favorite movie is Kati Patang. I watched it many times. My favorite actress from the old times is Asha parekh.

Thanks to bunbutt_too. Farhan Akhtar's mom played a little girl named Manorama, and her nickname is Munni. I found it interesting that both Farhan's mom and aunt were child artists

I just wanted to share that info⭐️

Mausi Daisy Irani and mama Honey Irani were child actors. By the time Kati Patang was made they both were way too old to start playing chubby babes, and not fat babies anymore.

Farhan Akhtar was born in 1974. Kati Patang was made in 1970. Something does not add up unless his mother gave birth to him when she was a child artist herself 😕

Look up his mom's history. You'll see that she was the child artist in the movie.

Maybe in the old times, they took a long time to release a single movie.

Honey Irani was born somewhere around 1950 to 53. That would make her roughly 20 something in 1970. For the sake of agruement even if we assume that Kati Patang took 5 years to make prior to its 1970 release, it still does not add up that Honey Irani played a child in this movie.
I know she was not a midgit in size. Something just does not add up. Still 😕

someone clear the confusion here.

I searched through the internet and saw in many of the articles saying she's the mother of farhan and was the child artist in the movie. But yeah the age thing doesn't add up
