After working in Bollywood, Bomalick says that there is no dearth of talent in the industry. What we may be lacking, however, is technology.
"The stunt guys here are really talented and dedicated. When it comes to talent, I don't feel that there is any dearth of good stuntmen here. Maybe the latest technology in action film-making is yet to arrive in Bollywood. Stunt filming equipment like the Ultimate Arm or the Motorcycle Camera are something I am informed that I brought here for the first time! I think Bollywood needs these kinds of equipment given the rate which film-making is progressing here," he says, admitting that Bollywood is at par with Hollywood when it comes to CGI (computer generated imagery) or special effects.
Bomalick is content in India and would definitely stay on if he gets more interesting projects. "I have already worked with Ashtavinayak. I am in talks for some more projects and if they fructify, then I am surely going to have a longer innings here in Mumbai."
The previous lack of money is no more the issue with India, feels Bomalick. "The movies in India are generally increasing in value and producers I can see will to go to any lengths to see a good product. I feel that it's just a matter of time before India starts churning out action flicks which are no less appealing than Hollywood," he says.
The startling fact, he says, is actors insisting that they want to perform their own stunts. "I have not seen this eagerness from anybody in Hollywood vis-a-vis in India where Akshay (Kumar) insists that he wants to do his own stunts. Even other actors wanted to do some of the most challenging stunts themselves. I am really surprised and impressed," he ends.
