Gaurav Narang, an MBA from IIM Calcutta, is a Business Manager by profession and an aspiring writer. Perfect bride of the week Priyanka Sharma on STAR Plus's show Perfect Bride voted him out.

We spoke to Gaurav Narang about his experience on the show and more.

How was your experience on the show?
"I enjoyed being a part of this unique show. The specialty of this show was that all the grooms and the mothers were very serious about the format as it concerned our future lives. There was nothing fake about it which makes this show totally different from other reality shows."

From this show, who do you feel was your Perfect Bride and why?
"Frankly speaking, my perfect bride would be none other than Rumpa Roy. The qualities in Rumpa, which I was searching for my future bride are very well present and even my mom likes her. The reason I like her is because she is very emotional and knows what family values are but at the same time I can't just judge her on that basis."

What is your take on your elimination?
"I am happy to be eliminated and now I think it will be very easy for me to judge by watching the show as who is pretending to be good and so on. Moreover I'm not angry with Priyanka Sharma who voted me out but I am slightly worried about the reason that she gave on my ouster "I am too good for her..."I am still to understand whether that's a valid reason or no."

Post Perfect Bride will you be in touch with brides?
"Yes, in these 28 days I made many friends from both the sides and I would love to get in touch with Vrinda, who became my best friend in the
show. At the same time Rumpa Roy has touched my soul and so in near future I will definitely think of her as my future bride."

Which is your favourite moment from the show?
"Surprisingly, the day I was eliminated. I was very happy because I would have never known what Rumpa felt for me if it wasn't for my elimination. She expressed her love to me on national television and that truly made my day."

What according to you does perfect bride mean?
My perfect bride will be my best friend but at the same time she should be sensitive to others views and thoughts, respect elders and be independent.

Among the three judges, who was your favourite and why?
"I liked Malaika Arora Khan as a judge and a person also. Her views were practical and genuine for all of us and her answers were very sensitive to our views which made her stand out from the other two. The other judge's answers were very diplomatic and their views sounded commercial to me."

How did your mother react to the show and your elimination?
"My mother was fine with the show as she has chosen her bride –Rumpa and was fine with my elimination."

Which celebrity couple do you admire the most?
"It's none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri. They share a good rapport with each other and how to love should be learned from them."

What after Perfect Bride?
"I am on leave up to 14th November from my office and so with this I will visit my hometown Muzaffarpur for Diwali and then will be visiting my relative's near Delhi."
