Then again, she could genuinely be a positive character who might turn bad after she finds out about AN. It could go both ways.
Oh, he doesn't deserve her one bit anymore.
You know, all the hoopla surrounding DMG in the recent days has made me reflect a little on the AN story...I was watching the Holi scene two days ago and there's vulnerable Nikki, laying her super-glued heart in front of Abhi...wondering why people leave her, if it's the shape of her nose that averts them, asking if he'll stay with her? ...and you realize, this already wounded, hurt girl doesn't deserve another person in her life who shows her the mirage of a love that won't be fulfilled. He was dishonest with her, but she still forgave him. Ok. But he left her stranded when someone else showed up, and he's doing nothing to get back with her. Should she wait for him? While he makes no move from his own side, acting the pansy every inch? For how long? Forever? No. She is a young woman, who deserves better than this man sitting on his hands, unable to take a firm stand. Does he expect honey from her while he weakly stutters, taking no action? She's gotten over heartbreak before, and even if Abhi is a love she can't forget, she can do it again. She doesn't need to become a stone-cold woman because of someone who can't own up to his words or feelings...she doesn't need to change herself because of someone else's mistakes. I am a dreamer for happy-endings, and this doesn't seem like hers...she deserves better, someone who can recognize her worth and make her happy...there are other fish in the sea.
As for Abhi...he's not entirely wrong in his place, we don't know the reality of his situation...but from what we do know, he's made a choice, even if it is out of civil goodness. He's going to have to own up to it, and maybe already is, but he's got no right to keep Nikki waiting. You learn to live with the decisions you make, and he made this one.
