Sanjiv Seth and Lataa Seth-Sabharawal, who play Akshara's parents, the Naths, in Star Plus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently went off for a 10-day holiday to Kashmir and Ladakh.
Says Sanjiv, "We went last month to Leh, Ladakh and Kashmir; it was our extended honeymoon. It was wonderful to visit jannat-e-Kashmir. We stayed on a houseboat in Dal Lake, which Lataa experienced for the first time. We have become closer on this trip. I think every loving couple should visit Kashmir and Leh at least once in their lifetime."
The couple discovered that their show is very popular in Kashmir too. "People like the Akshara-Naitik pairing. They are fond of Akshara (Hina Khan) as she is from Kashmir, so they were asking about her. We noticed that many young girls looked upon us as their parents."
