Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan without air!

Mumbai: Our B-town celebrities are becoming thorough professionals and seem to leave their starry air behind when it comes to work.

And it was witnessed on the shoots of 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna' for which Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan were shooting. They usually move with their spot boys, make-up artists, hair dressers, recently nutritionists and fitness trainers have joined this entourage. Such is the star paraphernalia!

So it would be s surprise to spot them without their entourage. But during the shoot of the film in Melbourne International Airport, there was a certain area where immigrants weren't allowed to enter. The authorities granted the permission for fifteen people to enter. The director had to take his entourage along obviously, but had to leave the Bebo's and Sallu's unit behind.

Bebo and Sallu didn't mind it all all and went sportingly holding their own vanity cases!

Kareena Kapoor's unforgettable birthday

Kareena Kapoor had two great birthday surprises this year. The first was when Aamir Khan postponed their shoot for 3 Idiots from September 21 to 25 and then it got better when beau Saif Ali Khan flew in her mom and close friends to Udaipur where she was shooting for a magazine cover.



Bebo was in Rajasthan on Saturday for a shoot and was to return later in the day. But that evening, Saif flew in and booked them into the Udai Vilas Palace Hotel.

Then on Sunday night, he surprised her further by flying in her best friend Reena, her designer Shabina Khan, some other close friends and her mom Babita to bring in her birthday.

Says a source close to the actress, "He had booked a suite and in true Saif style, he had it decorated it with candles, flowers and everything that she loves. Saif had recently taken her for a European holiday so Bebo wasn't expecting Saif to surprise her again, which he did!"

Pritish Nandy is clearly in the mood to extend the olive branch to Kareena after he had recently commented on a social networking site that Kareena looked like a joke in Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakkht Ishq, and if anyone wanted to see her in a stunningly beautiful avatar, they should watch her in his 2004 film Chameli.

Kareena had not taken too kindly to Nandy's comments and had shot back that he should concentrate on his work rather than blogging. Ironically, Nandy might now have the same lead pair as Kambakkht Ishq. A source says, "Kareena has liked the role in PKSE 2 and has agreed to star in it."

Nandy says, "I am out of town. My daughter Rangita might have approached Kareena. She is a good actress and I hadn't made any personal comment against her. Those remarks were directed only at her character in Kambakkht Ishq."

Earlier, there were reports of Sonam Kapoor starring in the film. Director Saket Chaudhary clarifies, "I don't know how Sonam's name popped up. The call on the cast is only taken by PNC."
