Insecure Kiran Rao doesn't trust Aamir with Kareena

Mumbai: With a superstar for a husband, who owing to his eternal lover-boy charm is hailed as one of the most romantic heroes of our times, it's natural for Kiran Rao to feel perturbed after knowing Aamir's proximity with swishy siren Kareena Kapoor.

So, when the 'intellectual' wife was informed about Aamir's sizzling song with the Kapoor lass, Kiran decided to take the first flight home to be by her hubby's side during the much-anticipated shoot.

Smart move we'd say! Even though the production unit maintains that Kiran was keen to attend the shoot, as she wanted to observe Aamir's romantic avatar, insiders suggest that Rao's sudden trip is a clear sign of insecurity.

Confirming the news a source told a daily, "Kiran will be flying down from France to Mumbai late night on September 20, just in time to attend the song's shoot. The song, which will be shot from September 21, will be shot over five days. Kiran is keen to watch the shooting of the romantic song because she closely wants to observe Aamir, who is one of the biggest romantic stars in Bollywood, in action with Kareena, who is one of the most beautiful girls in the industry today".

Talking about the song and Kiran's presence on the shoot, director Raju Hirani said, "Yes, we are shooting the romantic song 21st onwards at various locales in Mumbai with Kareena and Aamir. It is a light-hearted romantic song sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. As for Kiran, I don't know about that. Aamir did mention something to me but I have not met him since he has just come back from his France vacation and I have been busy with my editing."

Well, we don't blame Kiran for being cautious. Better be safe than sorry!
