That's the thing, They do this all for controversy which gives them publicity and money and all that. Anyway, A person like Mani Ratnam should know that this idea of his movie would offend a lot of Ram devotees, I mean making Lord Ram a villain in the movie and Ravana into a hero and Over that making Goddess Sita fall in love with Ravana.
I mean Goddess Sita was known for her love for Ram and how much she gave up for him.




Yea I understand what you mean Bugger, I found this a bit offending to me even though I'm not that religious (But I like researching about mythology and gods and all 😊) neither am I a devotee of Ram-Sita.
But still like you said, Why connect it to a epic and say it's different?
