Oooh...I know who you are talking about....he also acted in a movie with Ash and Abhishek, right?😉
I remember reading a hilarious incident on the sets of this particular movie, where this guy (don't see him anymore in the movies, so can't really call him star!) embarassed everyone on the sets wearing a pair of ultra transparent pyjamas, so that everyone could see his skimpy undies!😆😆😆 It was particularly mentioned that Ash was seriously embarassed by the whole thing and kept avoiding him as much as possible!
Btw, his father was a great actor! Star kids neither seem to inherit their paren't acting genes nor their humility....
Star kids are just like the kids of the normal rich and mighty we find in India....only they have the added advantages of having parents who are not only wealthy, but famous too!
I am thinking Hrithik Roshan is an exception, but then his dad was not a star and besides it was the other way round...Rakesh Roshan acheived celebrity status only after he had directed his son!

Bluemoon, I might be castigated for this...but I have to say something😳
If you notice actors who have a non-filmy background are more grounded, more level headed and defintiely nicer people than the one's who are progeny's of the Industry!
SRK comes from an educated but ordinary middle class family and I guess inspite of achieving unimaginable levels of stardom, the guy has essentially retained his firm middle-class roots and upbringing! I mean he is not the sort of guy who landed in movies because he couldn't do anything else...he schooled from one of the best schools in Delhi and topped there (His name is inscribed in the merit list at St. Columbus), he graduated from one of India's best colleges and again did very well there...he did his Master in Communications from one of Asia's best Universities...proving that for every achievement in his dazzling life, he has worked equally hard and diligently for everything! Such people usually don't let success get into their heads (Barring that whole US Incident!) and essentially remain the same throughout their lives!
John also comes from a very simple family and I am sure everytime he tries to thrown starry tantrums, his mother prolly pulls his ears and sets him right on course!😆
Piggy again comes from an army background...has worked her way up and comes across as a very family oriented sort of girl! Someone who will probably feel extremely awkward and surprised at herself, if she ever throws an unwanted tantrum or has airs! If you have been a certain kind of person for say 20 or 22 years of life....its quite difficult to suddenly change yourself overnight....even after achieving success!
The other actors who are mentioned have strong filmy backgrounds...some of them have the backing of a powerful actor as well....so they assume that they can get away with certain things, because that is the sort of privileged childhood and life they have had till date! When you have no one but yourself to account and pay for...people will normally behave and conduct themselves in a way that they expect others to do with them...but when you are lucky enough to stay protected from the world, then I guess, one becomes a very different person!
PS : Very surprised about Abhi....he comes across as rather lovable and sweet....at least in his interviews!

Soapie, what you have said mostly holds accurate when it come to the film industry, esp the bold part.
The only exeception I can think of is Shruti Hassan, Kamal Hassan a mammoth of star and a brilliant actor, but from what I have seen Shruti Hassan hasnt become the regular snobbish star kid!
She rather comes across independent, intelligent, down to earth and someone who doesnt feed off on her fathers status and contribution to cinema, for publicity! A real breath of fresh amidst the current crop of cock heads!

Soapie

I think the film was with Ash and Anil Kapoor. And now that I recall he did wear a lot of white kurta pajamas in the film.
