Start of episode
Sheeba and Chandini are sitting silently in the car as it is going and then Ravee asks Chandini why she is doing jasoosi and why is she searching all over Mumbai for her. Chandini says it is because that night in the party, you told me that you knew a girl who wore the same earrings as mine and then you followed me to my house. That means that you definitely know something about my Minididi. Sheeba irritatedly says that she doesn't know any Manisha and tells Chandini never to cross her path or else. She then asks the driver to stop the car and tells Chandini to get out. Chandini slowly gets out and stares as the car drives away.
Beeji is rearranging things in a suitcase when Chandini walks in. Beeji then takes out a cloth where one joda of a golden payal is kept. Beeji takes out the payal and shows it to Chandini telling her if she remembers that Baisakhi time when she had made that payal for Manisha and Chandini had taken the whole house on her head and sulked the whole day because she hadn't been given any payal. Chandini goes into flashback where the young Manisha is happily swinging on the jhula and dangling her feet so that the chan chan of the payal are heard and young Chandini is sulking on the steps behind. Manisha catches sight of Chandini and asks her to join her, but Chandini refuses. Manisha then goes upto Chand, sits next to her and asks her what the matter is. When Chandini doesn't reply, Manisha guesses that Chandini is jealous about her payal. She tells Chandini that why she is upset because Beeji had given her payal and Chandini kangan. But Chandini says that kangan don't make the same chan chan sound as the payal. Manisha is exasperated, but as the good loving elder sister, she removes her payal and puts it on Chandini's feet. Chandini is very happy and then both the girls start chasing each other and swing on the jhoola. Chandini comes back to the present and Beeji sadly tells her that now both the other joda of the payal and the wearer of the payal is missing. Chandini tells her that the missing payal will come calling to the pukar of its joda.
In IC, Smitha is walking in when she notices a wrapped gift which has her name on it. She is surprised and looks around, but no one is present. She unwraps the gift to find it is a beautiful kundan set ( necklace and earrings ). A voice then says, did u like the gift and Smitha turns around to find Varun. She is very angry at him and shouts at him, saying what do you want to prove by this gift. First you make fun in front of the whole office and then now you want to taunt me about my financial position by giving me this expensive gift. What do you mean by this gesture, Mr. Varun Kumar? Saying this, she walks off in a huff and poor Varun is left staring at her.
All the other employees troop in and work goes on. Ami is sitting with Chandini and both are discussing about Sheeba. Ami tells her that maybe there is no connection between Mini didi and Sheeba at all, but Chandini says her instinct is telling her so. Ami says that maybe it is just your imagination and Chandini says it is not when suddenly she gives a start. She remembers seeing Manisha's missing payal on Sheeba's hand. She excitedly tells Ami that she now knows the connection between Manisha and Sheeba.
Work goes on till break. Chandini comes upto Ami to borrow her phone and goes out. Smitha and Varun are the last people left after everyone go out. Smitha catches sight of Varun looking at her, stares angrily at him and walks off and bechara Varun sits dejected in his chair. Then Adi comes by and teasingly asks him that work should be done during work time, but everybody has to take a break. Varun just looks at him and Adi says in a dramatic voice, that now I'm the boss and you better listen to him. Varun smiles half heartedly and Adi tells him that during office hours, I'm your boss, but offtime I'm your friend. Varun then tells Adi that he needs his help.
Chandini dials Sheeba's number and Sheeba who is in some fancy hotel picks up and is irritated to hear Chandini's voice again. She again reminds Chandini never to call her again, but Chandini insists on meeting Sheeba, saying she is stubborn and won't give up until then. Finally Sheeba relents and asks her to come now. Chandini is surprised and says not at 12:30 in the night! Sheeba says now or never and Chandini thinks for a moment and says that she will be there in half an hour.
Varun is sitting with Adi in his office and tells him that Smitha refused to accept his gift. Adi tells him that any girl in Smitha's position would have reacted in the same way. He then teasingly asks Varun if he has any feelings for Smitha. Varun scoffs at the idea, saying that he is sorry about the letter wala episode and now he just wants to make up with her. Adi again asks him if that is all or is there something more. Varun says embarrassedly, that if he doesn't know any solution, then he can solve the problem on his own. Adi says that he rocks and that he has already solved the mystery of woman. He stops short and stares off ( most probably thinking of Chandini ) and then says, well almost……..
Jenny is shocked that Chandini wants to go out so late in the night, but then realizes that Chandini is not going to listen to her. She says that going in an auto is quite dangerous so late in the night, but says she will try to help out. She comes back and says that she has arranged the driver and car for her, but she should be back quickly or she will get into trouble. Chandini thanks Jenny and goes off and Jenny worriedly makes the sign of the cross.
Chandini reaches the hotel, doesn't find Sheeba there and thinks to herself that she is late by 10 minutes. She asks the manager if there was anybody waiting there and the manager says that he saw a lady waiting for quite some time, but now he doesn't know where she is. Chandini is very disappointed and frustrated and says that Sheeba had finally agreed to meet me, but I have failed again. Now how can I find Mini didi when suddenly a voice says Chandini. Chandini turns around to find Sheeba. ( she is wearing a black dress and we can see the missing payal as a bracelet on her shoulder ) Sheeba asks her what she wants and Chandini tells her that she wants to speak about her sister. Sheeba is irritated that Chandini is going on harping about the same topic. Finally in exasperation she asks Chandini for the name of her sister. When Chandini says Manisha Kapoor, Sheeba tells her that whether she wore the same earrings as Chandini and when Chandini excitedly says yes, she says that she had met her at some party for just 10 – 15 minutes. Chandini asks her if she knows where Mini didi is now and Sheeba thinks for a second and says no. Chandini accuses Sheeba of lying and Sheeba says how dare you, you little…….. Chandini tells her to continue whatever she was going to say, and again tells Sheeba that she is lying. Sheeba gets very defensive saying that why doesn't Chandini understand that she doesn't know anything about manisha. Doesn't she understand Hindi or should she explain in some other language. Chandini angrily says that what I don't understand is if you don't know Manisha, then how come ( catching Sheeba by the shoulder and taking out the other joda of the payal from her bag ) you have the joda of my payal on your shoulder??? Sheeba is shocked and stares at Chandini.

Preview of next episode: Aditya comes excitedly into the hub and tells everyone that a US delegation is coming the next day, they have to organize a party and he wants everybody's suggestions. Then probably realizing that Chandini is missing, he asks, 'Where is Chandini?' Chandini excitedly tells Beeji that she had met Sheeba the previous evening and that she was wearing the missing payal and Beeji turns around shocked. Sheeba tells Chandini, that fine, I know where Manisha Kapoor is!
Yay! One more potential love story btw Varun and Smitha to add some more spice. I'm guessing that probably Adi and Chandini will help them get together. I just hope that Adi doesn't get furious at Chandini for coming back late bringing things back to square one. I wish, I wish, I wish............. Oh heck! I just wish that Monday were here soon so I can watch the next episode! Till then take care guys!
